Sony needs to get some writers for their studios so that all their exclusive titles are not overtly generic again. Also, Sony needs to pay some fan service to the Sony Defense Force, or else SDF numbers will continue to dwindle, which as far as I can tell was the only advantage the PS3 had this generation.

Meh, as substances and substance shaders start to replace textures, this boogeyman will go away. Substances offer extrememly high detail, diffuse, specular, normal and bump maps yet are a fraction of the size of texture maps. Say... these assets are now measured in kilobytes rather than megabytes.
The downside is, you have a console with a dx8 fixed function shader, you are basically screwed over the next two to three years, as your console has no way to emulate substances...
The problem is all the ps3 fans would then complain that the chart only goes up to 10, and that the chart needs to be fixed so that it can accomodate ps3 exclusives...

I don't think the systems are equally good. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
If you want to stream movies and tv to the xbox is the clear winner. Not even close.

Um... When you sign up for comcast they give you a box... I think the idea is, rather than giving you the crappy motorolla set top box you just use the xbox as your set top box, cable modem, and the network port gets repurposed as your "internet wan" port.
