Hmmm... when I use to do more PC gaming, I never really had any issues with using wireless for gaming.
No, I just have never had an huge issue with GS, and I don't like OnLive. Unlike a majority of people here, I can see that both GS and Square Enix were in the wrong. It's time to move on...
And I'm happy with the job I have as it pays more than GS... :P
Time to take down some PC players. :P
All kidding aside, I'm even more excited to get this on my PS3 now... may even go get a wireless mouse and keyboard just for this.
Meh doesn't bother me that much, mistakes were made on both sides... time to move the heck on from these dang stories and find something new to talk about.
Onlive has had enough publicity over this already...
Even though I don't see this happening with MS, I do hope there able to make it happen. But either way, I'm sure PS3/PC will get it and that is why I will get it on my PS3 because I haven't played Counter-Strike in a very very long time.
Can't wait for the Portal 2 DLC...
Hopefully Valve will open steam on consoles to third parties and we can have more PS3 games that are compatible with PC gamers.
But your right BF3 may look good on PC, but your rarely see developers using the PC for its hardware. The money is in consoles so most PC games are going to be ports and there will be a lot of consoles games that PC won't get. So its either buy a PC for a select few games that will be better or just keep what consoles you have because it will ge...
I use to be a PC gamer, but I left it long ago, and I rarely return to it now. Slightly better graphics are not enough to make me go from the confront of my couch and big screen TV, with a predefined system to the PC, the gameplay is still the same. I also like having everything on ONE service. With PC gaming going from Steam, to Orgins, to GFWL... I just want everything tied to ONE account.
I'm also not fan if digital downloads either, and with PC gaming being primarily ...

Thanks. :)

As stated I never said they were not at fault, I said they are not the ONLY one at fault. As a consumer I understand why people are mad, but at the same time as a business I can see why GS would not want to advertise a another competitor through items they sell. Would you expect Walmart to sell items advertising Target? Square Enix should have notified retailers that they had a deal with OnLive and that that deal wou...
Is it right for GS to do that? No.
Are a lot of people complaining about something they would most likely never use? Yes.
GS is not all at fault here, SQUARE ENIX should have informed GS that they were including a code for a competitor and then GS would have been able to make a decision regarding selling the game. Still doesn't make what they did right, but we shouldn't put all the blame on them either.
I'm kind of torn on this, on one hand I don't agree with GS removing codes from games... but on the other who cares about OnLive? I'm sure most people will not care about this at all, as most people don't care for OnLive. It's not completely GS fault that they were not informed they were selling a code for the competition... I would not want to sell it either if I was them. As the publisher, Square-Enix should have informed retailers of what was included in the package.

The reason why OnLive and Online Muliplayer are not the future, even if it isn't right... more ISP's are going to continue to do this kind of stuff even if you don't like it.
But the retail market has been doing good too, maybe not as good as past years, but with our economical issues that is to be expected really. If you look at the numbers DD still is small compared to retail. So obviously not everyone wants digital. You will always get people who will want physical over digital... that will not change.
As far the Vita that is because Vita uses a new physical storage... so PSP games and PS1 games would HAVE TO be DD as they would have to re-sale...
You get what your pay for, an Onlive is crap... I would rather pay more for better quality and the ability to own my products.
I don't think single players games are going anywhere, yes you have some multiplayer games that get some huge sales such as COD, but most games don't see that type of numbers. However single player games sell just as well as multiplayer games do, sometimes better.
I do think you will see single player games expand with more optional social type features, and optional DLC... but to say that they will completely disappear is kind of an over exaggeration when you still ...
Just because a developer may want a game to be played online, doesn't mean that consumers "want" to play it online. The fact is you can have just of a good experience playing Diablo online or offline,... without some developer trying to force you to play a game how they think you should play it, so it doesn't matter at all what said developer wants.
Games are meant to be fun, since when did that include having to play online or being connected with others? ...
What are you talking about...
The only games that are not really attainable through retail in regards to PSN are cheap arcade and indie type titles. Every major game can be bought in retail just as it can be bought on the PSN.
As far as the Vita it will be the same, I believe Sony has already confirmed that all major games will be purchasable at retail but you will see a lot more arcade and indie type games that will be download only.
Arcade ...
Don't care for cloud gaming...
My problem with this is yea he says all of this and yes it sounds great. But since when has Activision been innovating, since when has Activision brought something new to the industry, since when has Acitvison not put business before customers and the good of the industry. I have not seen that Activision for a very very long time.
It's easy for the CEO of Activision to stand there and say that companies should not say things about other companies, and want them to succe...
Wow that had to be one of the worse articles I have ever read... is there a such thing as real journalism anymore, with you know facts to actually back up the information your reporting on? Or are we to the point that we now throw out crap just for the sake of throwing out crap?
