2001 Lionhead, maybe. Remember, a big chunk of their talent left pre-acquistion (at least Media Molecule came out of it). Molyneux was gone by 2012, and finally Carr left in 2015.
By the time they were closed in 2016, the creatives were gone.
Nothing against the devs who remained, but who was there that you can point to as someone to lead a new adaptation of Fable?
KF is all hype and noise, but no substance. It kills me that the group has access to so many resources and information, yet produce nothing of substance. Uniformed nonsense gets the views, I guess.
I haven't tuned in since Colin left.
The term "inappropriate joke" is an oxymoron in my book. If you're in the business of telling "appropriate jokes," then you're doing it wrong.
His "hateful rhetoric" is just more virtue signaling from the attention seeking, "I'm going to find a way to be offended," crowd. Remember a time when people understood that we may not agree on everything but not all opinions are cause for a damn political movement? I do. If you nee...
Yes and yes.
@bluefox
It was meant as hyperbole, but off the top of my head, I'd recommend asking those outspoken skeptics of their push for GDPR or their purchase of Github as a start.
Now imagine what happens if they manage to get the JEDI contract.
I'm hopeful for the Netflix theory. Seeing something like Megaman or RE getting the Castlvania treatment would be nice.
Another theory is that it's payment for a PS+ or Game Pass signing.
I'm anxious to see if they get awarded the Pentagon contract over Amazon. The "MS is trying to take over the world" crowd will crap their pants.
That would actually help prevent market segregation a bit. I wouldn't really care about a performance jump on the 6" screen, but giving a fidelity boost to the big screen wouldn't be bad.
You're right, a $1 introductory offer is more expensive than a free introductory offer. Good point. Makes that PS+ offering even weaker, I guess.
If you look into any article calling GP "the best deal," you'll see dozens of commenters pointing out that Now is actually cheaper. Especially when people like me grabbed a year's sub for $60. Strange that some will try to put down GP for offering a good deal, but later others put it down for being more expe...

I bought a year sub for $60. So $5 a month?
Yeah, the comparison sounds pretty good to me.
It's a creative way to bring attention to a lot of smaller games that otherwise may not get as many looks, and it gives consumers a little extra incentive for making purchases.
I fully support this kind of "desperation."
Forza 6, LoS, and Torchlight aren't on Game Pass. But isn't Sniper Elite 4 on PS Now?
This article isn't about streaming. It's about their recent comments and efforts demonstrating a strategy where they are seemingly willing to work with their competitors rather than looking to eliminate the same through the traditional console war tactics.
In short, it's an article about how they're trying to disentangle Xbox from the perpetual console war by spreading content and back end services to devices outside of their own ecosystem.
I can use an RPG to blow up 100 people on my way to the strip club in GTA. But I need to be concerned about vulnerable children being exposed to gambling?
I'm wide awake, man. I just think age restrictions that already exist should be sufficient for what you claim is your issue with it. People blow cash to get a new outfit or skin, so why not let them blow it to play poker?
Kids being bullied because of Fortnite skins is shitty, but parents raising k...
The manipulative and calculated tactics being deployed by many of these companies are disgusting and offensive. I agree with Sterling and others on that front. But even so, I just can't follow along with the pearl clutching group that thinks we all need shielded from gambling.
There isn't another topic that unites gamers more than when a politician or analyst comes out and claims that games are too violent. The vast majority of us will instantly rally against those ...
Yeah, most of those have been on GP for some time now.
As much as I love the Witcher 3 (and 2), I'm more of a fan of the books when it comes to the overall story. The showrunner has stated that the books and short stories are the source material for the show, which makes a lot of sense.
Fans of just the games should still have plenty to enjoy. Remember that the games are a take off of the books, too. I have high hopes for the series.
Reverse FM6 and 7. If you're against MTs, 7 is the one that got it right.
I share in the author's frustration, but I can't pretend that it affects the vast majority of gamers. A certain subset, namely collectors and that top % of fans, are getting jerked around with some of the smaller titles. I agree that LRG's preorder compromise is nice. I'm getting really sick of dealing with these FOMO tactics + scalper ecosystems.
I would also extend this critique to the big guys though. We're being falsely pushed into the FOMO mentali...
I think it'll be 60 fps across the board just like H5. Lighting, resolution, load times, and effects will likely be improved.
