Obsidian, inxile, Double Fine, Ninja Theory, and Compulsion weren't making Xbox exclusives.

Games Journalism in 2019.
People have odd memories. I'd argue that Xb had the more compelling games lineup 2013-2016. Once we got to Fall 2016, PS4 1st party started to really accelerate, while Xb's went completely dry.
$100 more expensive, weaker hardware, and continued belief re: DRM and used games killed it imo. The subsequent exclusive drought kept it at the bottom.

What third party games can be used? There's high quality stuff across the globe coming from talented 3rd parties. I look at From, Platinum, CDPR, and even some of the big guys are delivering like Ubisoft.
I think Nintendo has some top tier teams. Sony probably has 3-4 of the best teams around. Even MS has a couple really strong teams. But I don't think it's fair to insinuate that All 1st party is close to the top tier.
Would you argue Lift or ...
I think it's probably better to just push xcloud through mobile and the Xb1S for right now.
If it takes off, maybe do a dongle later.
I get what you're trying to say, but I'm having trouble fully agreeing.
Imagine what the BotW team could do on a high end PC or PS4/X1. You're putting a lot of emphasis on the hardware, but I think the actual argument is that 1st Party teams are some of the best supported and most talented teams, period. The hardware really isn't special - but the devs and internal support they receive are.
There are also plenty of 3rd party teams and gam...
They just came out and said it has almost sold 3 million copies. That's across PC, PS, and Xb. Safe to say, "most" have not played it by now.
But he used emojis...
Well that doesn't make much sense. Are fans making it?
Maybe it's aimed at your not-so-dedicated Nintendo fans who do care about the lower specs of the OG Switch.
In the almost 20 years since launching, Xbox has never been the top seller, but they're still around. I would trust that they're not leaving anytime soon.
Now, if they launch their own VR unit and games, I wouldn't trust it either. The smartest move they could make in the VR space is to partner with Oculus and/or Rift. VR doesn't need a 4th ecosystem dividing the small market, and a partnership is good for the devs, manufacturers, and most importantly, the ...
I'm sorry you don't understand it.
Stay woke.

Did Microsoft sign Zion too? Holy crap!
Zion's deal with Nike is allegedly 12+ million a year. Shows you how desperate Nike is to sell its product....

You said OP was confused, so I thought it was helpful to see the actual statements made about gaming. I believe that he doesn't think about games at all, but was told to place blame on them. IMO, it's naive to believe otherwise.
I also think that the correlation between his statements regarding the "invasion" at the border, the mirroring of that rhetoric by some of that same media you mention, and the later echoing of the same fr...
Trump's words:
"We must stop the glorification of violence in our society. This includes the gruesome and grisly video games that are now commonplace. It is too easy today for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this and it has to begin immediately."
Also look at McCarthy's earlier comments without any media spin:
"But the idea o...
Setting the bar really high, huh.
Coming off the heels of Endgame, it was probably a mistake to immediately go with a realistic art style. A high-caliber comic/cell shaded style would have allowed fans to start seeing these characters as someone other than Downey, Jr., Evans, etc.
Taking it further, they could have commissioned an animated film for DVD/Netflix, introducing the voice actors and giving some of the back story. Instead, we'll all rewatch endgame and then see a bunch of characters in game wh...
There needs to be a disclaimer on any Outer Wilds article explaining that it is not Outer Worlds.
With BC, they won't even have to port it. My question is, what kind of support does 5 get when GTA6 presumably launches with a new online mode.
Yes to all.
Military planes were available through expansion packs back in the day, but they've mostly been relegated to mods (hell, the mod community were the only ones adding to the game in recent years).
Helicopters should be there, too.
