It wasn't perfect, but traversal was a highlight of the game for me. You raise some specific points I hadn't thought about, but it obviously didn't affect my play.

Things have improved for them. They've got multiple games in development right now, and apparently they've done well enough to start up 2 brand new IPs. Not sure if they'll be Switch or PS4/PC or mobile.
Kamiya and the rest just don't seem like the type that would want to be inhouse with anyone. I'm sure Sega or another pub would be interested too, but now PG is talking about self publishing.

I think these choices each make some sense. I bet they do grab Remedy or get some exclusive deal with them, but I don't think Sony really needs another studio making 3rd person action/adventure games.
I'd rather see them look for a studio for a new shooter (4A games maybe), maybe a fighting game studio (ARC System?), or an RPG studio (even though they don't have the history - I hope somebody gets Mistwalker back to consoles).

Definitely. It's a game that would benefit the most from being on more platforms. You need as many creators as possible to make that game truly reach its full potential. Going to a community where modding is so prevelent makes perfect sense.

If you think the Xbox One's problems were because of the Xbox leaders, you might want to look at the history of MS as a whole.

I agree that they should have gone more into the campaign at E3. Part of me gets it, though. Anymore, as we learn more about a game, it gets dissected, misrepresented, and butchered by media and fans alike. I think companies in general are being too cautious anymore.
