I couldn't agree with your statement more! Even its use in R&C: TOD was also sparingly used and worked quite effectivly. This guy has a bug up his whatever to be saying something like this about a platform he just created a game for. I wonder if he was being pushed to add sixaxis support or something and couldn't figure it out.
I was just copying that exact quote. It is quite amazing how they (the 360 only crowd) like to bring disorder to a great conversation, then not a couple of hours later, this drops and throws it right in their face. At least Sony is not going to charge for the KZ2 update as the creators have already confirmed it to be free, lets see what Microsoft does with this. Considering they love to charge for any little DLC and the boading words from above "No details about pricing are yet availa...
Demise of the CD?
Funny, last time I went into my local music store "Rave Music", they had plenty of music CD's for sale, as did Walmart, as did Best Buy...
Besides, we are not talking 3meg per song here, we are talking 3gig per standard def movie up to 25gig for a true high def movie. Downloading will have its day, but not today! Or anytime in the next 5 to 10 years it would seem.
Oh sure, make us feel bad for giving you a hard time because of a typo!
my quest for Uncharted trophies will need to wait tonight, I see some 'TFU' headded my way.
edit:
morganfell, yeah, I was responding to his question, which he eddited after I replyed, so I changed my response to downloading "The Force Unleashed" and replying to your reply
===whew===
Don't you hate it when people change their message?
First, they are not really your friends, they just let you hang around with them from time to time because your mom paid them.
Secondly, they have already purchased their own PS3's.
;)
this game looks to have amazing resolution. The detail in the cloths alone is cool. It will be interesting to find out if the cut sceens are like MGS4 and use the in game engine to create them.
I agree that this definitely has that suspense/thriller look and feel to it from what little we have been shown so far. I will look forward to seeing the demo on this one.
You summed that up quite nicely. And looking at the two companies, Microsoft has always been a react type of company. They would rather let someone else lead the way, then come in with an updated something or other saying "this is what we made" while standing on the backs of others.
Bathyj,
Also very well written, Sony is a very forward thinking company and they were/are bashed hard by media and gamers alike who were uncertain of the forced BD standard, but I...
But that will never happen so I guess we will just have to get used to using monkey wrenches and eating mushrooms.
Now I'm going to have that stupid song rolling through my head for the next couple of hours!
I am disgusted in your lack of enthusiasm for something that rejuvenates a game that we enjoy. But I tell you what, I am more than happy to oblige you with a disagree!
that since there was no record keeping, (single player game anyway), that there would be no retroactive trophies. But that is ok, I don't mind playing this game again from scratch. I will just bump the difficulty up a bit to get that new play feel.
I knew I should have called into work this morning. Oh well, guess I can wait to 8:30 tonight when I get home to download it and start playing again. All sorts of cool things happening this summer for our favorite black monolith with the Sony name brand.
I wouldn't mind a FF-VII remake or remastered. Updated graphics, for that High Def touch, better sound / music. There is a lot they could do to bring that game up to tods standards. Many consider VII to be the pinnacle of the series, I personally have not played any of the series past VII. Watched a friend of mine play the X or XI that came with the hard drive for the PS2, and didn't care for it. But I am looking forward to XIII on the PS3.
Not only the screen shots in the article, but the couple of off-screen vids we have been shown, and just the general information revolving around this game is showing this to be a game that they did everything right on. It will be interesting to see the finished product in our hands to see what parts of the game get an A+ or a B-.
It is good to hear conformation on the games AI that everyone was saying was weak. Looking forward to add this one to my collection.
Most bluetooth headsets allow multiple devices to be registerd to them. So you can use the same bluetooth headset on both your phone and the PS3. Plus, because the PS3 uses bluetooth, you can use any bluetooth headset you like and get 8 to 10 hrs of use on a charge.
So Warhawk is lowered in price, anyone know of any others?
Like Lair, or Motorstorm, or Resistance?
"And for the record, the 360 HASN'T won anything this gen. And no, not even the PS3. The real winner is the Wii.."
Your are wrong there, the 360 has won the whammy award for the single console in the history of consoles with the most breakdowns!
:)
Aww come on, that was funny. Does anyone even remember the whammy?
(shakes head in disgust while walking away...) Mumbles "my humor is wasted here"!
If Microsoft would have released the 360 along side the PS3, they (MS) would not have the following they have today. People would see the 360 for what it is and the PS3 would be the console of choice.
Instead, MS did a very risky move by releasing the 360 ahead of schedule. And everyone "jumped in" for the mere lack of competition. Now you have everyone and their brother that has a 360 telling everyone else that it has all these great games and what are we supposed...
they force you to shake the controller to shake off the enemy trying to take a bite out of your neck. What would you have them do? Button mash? I like the motion control in Uncharted. used for the grenades, for balance, and to shake off an attacker.
