the PS3 is a very nice console if it be for games or movies. For me the choice was easy. My 50" SDTV took a dive so I replaced it with a 56" HDTV. Already owning a 360, and dvd players, I connected them right up. The 360 looked great, the dvd movies however did not. The odd thing of it though is I would have never had a 360 except the PS3 was delayed. Because of that delay, MS got my money, not because it was the better system, no, because of the lack of competition. After ge...
While I do use a AMD64-X2 for my gaming system, my main system is a Power PC and my server is running on an old Alpha. Intel is good an all, but they cost too much for what you get. Have been a AMD fan since the old K6-2 series of processors and have never used anything but a Alpha for my server. Shame Alpha is out of business. I think I will buy another PS3 and use it as a linux box instead of spending the $1,000 on just the x58 processor and having to build up a $2,500 system just to ha...
Unfortunatly I work till 8:00pm so it will be a while before I have any hands on.
One of my co-workers picked up the game and a system this morning on the way in to work. He said his wife gave him the ok as long as he votes.
lets see here, Joined N4G 4 hours ago and already have 5 users ignoring your comments and down to 4 bubbles. Yeah your comments are a great addition to the site. I give you another day and a half and you will be down to one bubble and creating another acct to force us to read your dribble.
By your posts so far, it is painfully clear that you will lapp up anything MS and spit out anything Sony. That is ok, we all have our opinions, but do you honestly fell it necessary to sa...
I still have the original Pong game system. Never owned anything by Nintendo though, and the neighbor had the intellivision...Donkey Kong and Zaxxon all the way!
Pong, you know, the final version after they fixed all the glitches...
Resistance 2, followed by Gears2, followed by LBP.
Unfortunatly Resistance2 is released on 11/04 and Gears2 on 11/07, so it will be a tight week for game playing (not to mention affording lunch)!
Heck, I even liked Lair with the motion control instead of using the analog update. The only part of this game that dissapointed me was two fold, first, the big one, no trophies on the PS3 version, and game wise, I hated bringing down the star destroyer with force powers. Gosh that was frustrating. Other than that, I like "The Force Unleashed".
Anyone who has been on the fence is now free to choose with a better state of mind.
any old webcam will work, for instance, I use my Xbox 360 webcam when I play Burnout.

Working till 10pm tonight ..... Damn
Won't be getting much sleep tonight I guess.
That sir is true inspiration. I never even thought of trying that. That is very cool!
I'm not liking that "Zone Zeus", never liked that mode on the PSP version, I guess we will see how it looks on the big screen.
A dual layer, double sided DVD toping out at 16gig has a higher / better resolution than a blu-Ray disc? Have they not learned that compression = loss of quality? HD-DVD was the best shot against BD yet even they lost out because of lack of storage space. Yeah, this is not going very far...
but I would hope that Microsoft will give some kind of "trade-up" program for those of us that bought into or were forced into Vista through a new PC purchase allowing for a reduced price on W7.
if you remember your logon info to the PSN, just sign up from work. I did.
That was a pretty stupid comment. And I can't believe anyone who is posting on board such as that could be so mis-informed...he was just trying to spread FUD or start something.
In any case, for those who might not know, no, it will not void your warrantee, Sony gives you step by step instructions on how to do it.
I agree, I played the demo through 3 times already. I agree with some of the comments below that state the gameplay is a bit on the easy side, but this is just a demo after all and not ment to show what the whole game is to be like.
I guess I went in with a more open mind than a lot of you, I thought the graphics were great on the PS3 side. Granted, nothing earth shattering, but a lot better than Turok or even Haze. Everything was very fluid and at no point in my playthrough...
First you bash it because you don't have it, then you will praise it once the 360 uses its new motion control in games.
Just like we PS3 owners said that vibration in our controllers wasn't necessary, but now that we have it back, we like it.
Problem is Jenzo, no one around here forgets anything, so you better not praise the 360 motion controllers for anything!
I started out with the PSP-1001, sold that when the PSP-2000 came out, was thinking about the PSP-3000 because of the brighter screen, but after hearing of some of the problems, I will stick with the PSP-2000 for the time being. Liked Killzone on the PSP, loved both Wipeouts, and enjoyed FFVII Crisis Core a lot.
I like the feature of remotely accessing the PS3 with the PSP, can't say I like actually playing a game remotely, too much delay in the response times, but watching mo...
