Some people just fear what they don't understand!
Low to no heat, only question is how much power will it use. Last time I looked into SSD, they used as much or more power than a regular hard drive. And were also slower.
Sounds like Toshiba got the speed issue fixed, now what about that power?
being in the closed beta, I could not log onto HOME with my associate acct, they would only allow master accts to log in. Does anyone know if this restriction has been lifted.
Thanks.
So if I have a dream about killing my boss in a particular way, and say I told my best bud the dream, then he kills the boss and they find my recorded dream showing me killing him, I don't think that would work out too good for me...
People will always make mistakes, and while parts of this game are willingly shown to us by GG, there was obviously a NDA for this game code that either the person reviewing it didn't know about, or thought the parts he/they showed was supposed to be allowed. I for one like to see all the footage I can get on a perspective game. without it, all we would hear about is "um, yeah, it is a really cool game, great graphics, awesome sound...blah, blah, blah" but what does that tell you....
most 'gaming' sites would have just removed the vids without a 2nd thought about putting up an appology. 1up for instance does this alot. It does add up to respect when someone does something just because it is the right thing to do.
you of all people being such a 360 follower should know that all the Arcades already came with a 256mb memory card. All MS did was move the external card to be internal on the motherboard. If anything, they should include that on ALL versions of the 360 and allow us to set it for cache which would help with the texture pop in.
Now had you said the Core system when you said "some people would have JUST bought the system an no memory cards an there would have been a proble...
even playing it the third time through getting the achievements, hearing things scurry from behind you gets your heart going. There is always something clanging and pipes dropping from the ceiling causing you to do a quick scan of the room.
Most used is the Plasma Cutter, then the Pulse Rifle, then the Line Gun
I liked the game so much, I am asking for it on the PS3 side for Christmas. This is just one of those games that with the lights low or off and your surround system on, some of the noises that come from those speakers will (and I do mean WILL) get your heart pumping fast.
that in a day where a 2gig thumbdrive cost less than $10.00 retail, that they can not put at least 1gig internal and still make a buck or two.
ZZZZZzzzzz ZZZZZzzzzz
Wake up man!
Did anyone count how many 360's they destroyed in that drama?
Loved the "I'm gonna nuke the ##@!@", then cuts to a nuclear explosion. Priceless, just priceless.
All the 360 people are tired of hearing about the RROD, yet if I were looking to get a 360, I would want to know about it. Even if it has been reduced, it is not gone. While I don't think that a simple dashboard update would cause a RROD, everyone who has been following the 360's life knows that anything will cause it to trip. For those of you saying the RROD is simply a heat issue, you are quite mistaken, the RROD is a "general hardware fault" which could be anything from bad pow...
been running fine before the update, after the update, thought everything was fine then I was checking out the Netflix info and my 360 locked up. Power cycled it, and so far so good, just staying out of the Netflix area. :)
I would put 3 games in front of GTA4. In 3rd place, Halo 2.5 (I mean Halo 3). In 2nd place, Haze. And in 1st place, Too Human.
I will also put MGS4 at the top spot not only because of the gameplay, but the visuals are drop dead beautiful! It is one thing to say the cut scenes have a lot of detail in them, but when the only way to tell if you are watching a cinematic or playing the game is the HUD dropping into view when you take control of Snake. That is epic.
After Snake, my heart falters as I have yet to play LBP (asking for it for Christmas) and while I have R2 and think it is a great game, to me ...
you still have the option to not install it, but everytime you start up the 360 or if you want to play online...an update you will be a doin.
only one issue, Microsoft is a USA company, but the product is made in Taiwan and Japan using grade B and grade C parts. Meanwhile, Sony gets all the grade A parts for the PS3 and it shows. My biggest gripe is where are all the doom and gloom write ups against the box that three years later is still scratching disks and still has a above average failure rate. Where are the articles stating that until the American Company MS gets their act together, that consumers should save their money an...
