I'm sure you have already realized this, but the game data is 5gig, not 50gig. So yes, even people that purchased the original 20gig system can play this game after installing the data to the drive.
But if you feel the desire to expand, you can pick up a 200gig 7200rpm drive for 'slightly' faster load times for $180.00, and it even comes complete with a case for your old drive.

but at the beginning of November I said that of the 3 console makers, by Christmas it would be Wii on top, followed by the PS3, and the 360 in 3rd place. Funny but I was dissagreed with left and right and told the PS3 has no chance in hell of outselling the 360. Look who has egg on their faces now! The PS3 has been edging out the 360 for the last couple of weeks now. Interesting, very interesting.

My buddy has Mediacom cable service and has 15meg down and 1meg up service. Still, I am on a DSL service with 3meg down and 800k up, I would not and will not RENT my movies from Microsoft. Nor will I RENT them from Sony. I want the media in my hands.

He just picked himself up a LG 32" tv (from a 25" sdtv) and loves the 360 now that he can see what is going on and read text. If you do not have either of these systems connected to a HDTV, the difference is staggering!

well, you have that plus there is a report that there is a clause letting the studio out if Blu-Ray sales get above 80% of market. So if that is true, we could be watching the few hd-dvd movies we want on blu-ray a lot sooner than you think.
nicely stated indeed. I like both my PS3 and 360, and like you said, IF hd-dvd happens to pull out and become the victor (very unlikely) I can just get the add on and watch the movies that way.

You are so funny. You HD-DVD (Red) supporters need to remember that with Blu-Ray's (Blue) foothold in the PC market, and the PS3, and set top boxes, blue will NOT be going anywhere! Learn it, Love it, Get over it! Despite what you may dream about hapening, Sony will not put a red player in the PS3 just as Microsoft will not put a red or blue player IN the 360! I downloaded both and had 3 other guys around me and we all agree, they look the same except for the color depth, the 360 def has deeper colors, but the PS3 is no slouch either. If it were not for the swithing from input 1 to input 2, you would not have noticed.
Interesting side note, if anyone else downloaded it on the 360, did you notice any stutters? Not alot, along the lines of smooth, smooth, smooth, stutter, smooth, smooth, smooth, smooth, smooth, stutter?
I agree with Blazin, the PS3 may be just on par with the 360's graphics, but as a media center, it can not be beat. Everything you wrote can be duplicated on the PS3, now currently they can be done on the 360 easier, but they can be done on the PS3. Oh, and since you obviously did not know that currently Blu-Ray is kicking the snot out of HD-DVD, let me be the first to tell you...Blue is kicking the snot out of Red to the tune of 73% and will not be going anywhere!

I would say that n4g has grown up a lot. There are only a handfull of "kids" that continue the pissing match, and they are put in their place right after they post. This whole "well my system sold X# of copies while yours only sold X# of copies" is very gradeschoolish.
