just because WB decided to support BD only. It is not like the supporters of (red) are going to throw their arms up in the air in disgust and close camp. (Red) will be around for some time to come...look at Betamax, Sony lost that war a long time ago, yet there were still movies released on the Beta cassette to the mid 90's.
I am however very glad that WB decided to back the obvious winner of this format dispute and I also hope the (red) exclusive studios will be able to eith...
considering the MS crowd likes to say the 360 is so easy to design a game for because it is basically a PC. So I guess your entire comment for calling the PS3 a PC is because of the install to hard drive. Interesting.
Well closer to 14mil problems. Lets say MS does release this new system with a built in HD-DVD. And lets say a gaming company decides to put out a game on said disk...lets pick on the game Blue Dragon. Let us also asume that MS will be able to allow us to use the add-on player with games with a simple firmware update. So now you are forcing owners of a 360 to purchase a add-on drive costing from $150 to $180 just to play this game. Not gonna happen my friend. Even if they bundle it with...
Unconfirmed reports of a new Sony SKU in a effort to one-up Microsoft and their "Ultimate 360", the "Avenger" from Sony will have two Cell processors with 2gig of dedicated memory each, include three SLI enabled 8855 nvidia cards and four 500gig 2.5"SATA drives set as raid-01. Sony will keep the Blu-Ray drive enabled "Avenger" within everyones grasp when it releases in February of 2008 hitting the shelves at a low, low price of $1600.00!
There were a couple of gems in the PS3 launch line up, but nothing spetacular. PSN needs a lot of help to get it on par with Live. We have been spoiled with Live!
Just like the "analists" that said the PS3 was Sony's latest flop and should brush it under the rug as a disgrace. However, the 5 things the article writes about have a good chance of happening. Even if it comes from a Pro-Sony site. I think a good 3 or 4 of the 5 have a very good chance of coming true.
I don't have a problem with that. If a person buys the PS3 as a movie player, fine, he has the potential to play games. If a person buys the PS3 as a gaming machine, fine, he has the potential to watch movies.
It does not matter what people are doing with their PS3, there are those of us that use it as both. High Def gaming is here, it started with the 360, and the PS3 will carry the torch till the next consoles come out.
I think the 5 predictions are spot on,...
I have not been able to access any of the content stored on my hard drive since Friday. Since I sold my original 360 to my son to purchase a Elite, I used a friends transfer cable to move everything from the 20gig to the 120gig of the Elite and it didn't cross my mind that there would be any issues like this. I mean, come on, it is content stored localy on the system. This explains alot! Oh well, what can you do.
Luckily I have my PS3 to keep me entertained until Microsoft ...
Does anyone else hear that bell, 'cause I think Jack just got schooled.
While I agree with The Round Peg's post, I still think both Uncharted and R&C should have done much better. There are over 7million PS3 owners, and Uncharted doesn't even break 500,000? Granted, I waited till Christmas when I got both as presents, and I would have sworn many other PS3 owners were doing the same thing, but now the Christmes sales are over, and the numbers just don't add up.
neither my son or myself (we have seperate 360's) have been able to log into XBL. We get to the point where we can see that we have 'X' munber of friends online, but all of the blades are blank.
I think I struck a nerve for little cutie pie...
So you totaly re-edit your post, I catch you at it, and you send me this...

go fck yourself XBOT
PS3 starts at 399.99
360 starts at 279.99
for whatever it's worth, the 360 is still cheaper.
The only 360 sku that costs more than a PS3 is 360's luxury sku, which ...
I am speechless.
You either have one heck of a thick skin to shrug off what everyone on here thinks of your comments, or you truly enjoy stating what you state just to see the reaction.
You got a mighty big set there buddy, take care no one lobs them off!
you mean beyond the whole "NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PS2 GAMES" sticker on the front of the box?
Yeah there are a lot of blind parents out there that mistakenly picked up a Wii box instead of a PS3 or X360 also...NOT!
(No wonder why the Wii is selling so well, people can't read and the entire world is illiterate)
Your pricing is a bit off...
PS3 = $399 (40gig) or $499 (80gig)
X360 = $279 (Arcade, no hard drive) up to $449 (Elite with 120gig)
Wii - $249
I like how you put Sony's most expensive with the 360 middle of the road.
edit:
interesting, anything but cute, you change your entire post? Nice! For those of you that missed it, her/his original post stated "you have to pay the cost to be the boss" and listed the thr...
you are one to talk when you yourself go into PS3 sections and wise crack about how solid the XBL is compaired to Sony and go on for days about the quality of service you pay $50.00 a year for, what is the matter, you can dish it out but can't take it?
Poor guy, you must be very high strung. Why don't you put down that Mountain Dew Red and have a nice glass of Sprite or 7up?
GS needs some fresh blood.
No Uncharted, No R&C:TOD, No UT3, No AC.
What a bunch of crud. And giving it to Galaxies...a re-hashed version of the same characters doing the same thing? Right...Not in this kid's world!
But I guess this is just my opinion and if those games were choosen by gamers, then there is not much I can say. Personaly I would have chosen Bioshock over most of those choices.
that is an interesting comment you just wrote..."Also we will respond to ps3 fans with the truth always and not let word of mouth go in there favor ever!"
You should talk to some of your 360 fans then, because they are spredding 1/2 truths and down right lies when it comes to the PS3. You have a chip on your shoulder about the PS3, fine, I am not going to waist my time tring to talk you into a system you will not/do not want. However, the world does not revolve arou...
Thank you, I am also on the fence with this game. When I first heard of it, I thought "sweet, a mmorpg that I could get into", then I found out it was only going to be single player and was crushed. After reading about the frame rate issues (amongst other things) I have pretty much written this off and concentrated on picking up games for my PS3. But everytime I watch one of the trailers I downloaded, I just want to play the game. Your comment was the first to shed a good light ...
But the thing is, it is not mandatory to install the game data to the hard drive. Look at it this way, Graphics is data to be loaded in, the more graphics, the more data, the longer the load time. The 360 (for whatever reason) has a more efficient loading of games, so the same game on both systems will load faster on the 360. Granted, it won't be by much, maybe like 22sec for a level to load on the 360 to 30sec on the ps3. But that is loading from the media. However, you load the game da...
the hd-dvd add on for the 360 could not even be used as a game drive for the 360's own software, plus the obvious differences in hardware between the two consoles.
