I wouldn't put it so cut and dry. I bought the Pro and liked it so much, I sold it to my son and bought the Elite. The Pro is still going strong, the Elite has already been replaced once. The thing is, we have already purchased the system, and with MS giving us a 3yr warrantee over the RROD, beyond the time and trouble, he is out nothing even if he sends his 360 back 15 times. Now if MS charged a small fee for each repair, yes, that would be a different story, but for now, the RROD is fix...
I would rather have a complete game with very few errors/glitches, then have the developer push it out unfinished like Assassins Creed, or Gears of War, or RB6. I am still looking forward to this game, and while it is dissapointing that they have pushed it back again, I am sure it is for a very good reason and not just to build hype or piss off us PS3 owners.
you said, "the original knights tale movie does not look that blurry on the 50 inch tv i saw infact I got the hh greg guy to take hook up the blu ray player to one of their SD digital tube tvs and it looked the same!!"
So you had the guy hook up a high definition movie player to a standard definition TV and was suprised to find it looked the same as a standard DVD playing on a standard TV?
Are you for real?
Or are you just trying to confu...
Also having both systems, I know a lot of my 360 friends are going to purchase this, but many of my PS3 friends are also. While I am a achievement whore, I think I will be pulled over to the PS3 side on this one. I already have a DS3 controller so that takes that "+" out of the equation, and while the PS3 does not have custom sound tracks yet, it will shortly so that takes that "+" out. Playing both demos, I could see the small amount of stuttering on the 360 version an...
"I don't know why PS3 fanboys are running around saying PS3 looks better no one from the video's can tell, even all the other reviewers only 1up said otherwise and they said the PS3 controller triggers are better so what was that review worth?.."
...the Xbox 360 game does suffer from some minor slowdown on rare occasions...
Verdict:
The PS3 game wins, but it's by the smallest margin.
Have always liked the Bourne series, and am waiting patiently for Transformers to turn blu.
According to the HD-dvd guys, the PS3 is used for games, not movies...you anti PS3 guys realy need to sit down with each other and have a pow-wow. Maybe you can use the heat from your 360 and make smores at your gathering.
While the writer went a bit far on his examples of the 360 system, personally I like my 360...but I like my PS3 more. The issues with live are different for everyone, some people only had trouble for a couple of days, others (me) had troubles until just a c...
This is cold man, just cold! ;)
and continue...oh wait...j/k
It doesn't matter if the PS3 is a gaming machine or a movie player or both. I own a 360 and enjoy movies. When the PS3 had its first price drop on the 60gig model, I snatched it up as a movie player. And it is a great player. However, it is also a great gaming machine and the couple of games I can not get on the 360, I pick up for the PS3. The thing a lot of the PS3 haters are not seeing yet is once the PS3 gets where the PS2 is at in sales numbers (as in over 100mil), it does not matter...
I kind of liked the other Zuhk.
But I will admit, it has been a while since we have heard from Zhuk...
this is part of todays update, the SSHD-DLC? If so, cool, once I get home tonight, I will be firing up the PS3 for some of this action.
After looking forward to HOME for so long, it was dissapointing when they pushed it back to early '08, but my understanding is they needed to fix a couple of things from the feedback they got from the closed beta testers. At least Sony is trying to get us a working update rather than throw it out for everyone to have, and fix what is broken while everyone gets upset over a twitchy system.
Got that for Christmas and pretty much played it non-stop till I completed it. Now that Ratchet is done, I can move on to my other Christmas present...Uncharted.
I am looking forward to two demos, DMC and Turok.
Maybe a storage medium for those Digital Downloads to get them off your hard drive...naw, I give up, no clue what MS is up to with this.
Working for a cable company, I will tell you that people call in screaming for a months worth of credit if their service is down for even an hour. Our response, if the outage goes over 24hrs, we can give you a credit for the day. And we do give credits out. So you are totaly wrong on your assumption. Unfortunatly, this is not a clear cut outage as it is affecting different people in different areas, differently.
It started for me right around Christmas with my blades on XBL not showing up. And when I cancelled the connection, I got my blades, but could not play any of the downloaded games or watch many of the videos I have because this is my 2nd 360 (sold my original to my son). It wasn't untill the 2nd week of January that I could sign in, but XBL will kick me off after 5min or so. And that is STILL happening to me as of this morning.
When I first heard about the lawsuit, I like yo...
What?
Slow down and think about what you are trying to say and try again please. That is one clusterfuk of a response. Slow down, breath, and re-post your argument.
As far as the BD version having two discs, Disc 1 contains the entire feature, Disc 2 is bonus goodies...here, taken from DVD Empire...
"In addition to the movie, the first disc in this 2-disc set contains a 1080p game called “Liar’s Dice” that uses the rules of the same game tha...
Hit Ital over the head with the information again, I don't think he got it yet...
It is funny though, has anyone else noticed that the anti-BD crowd has to make things up and pick stats out of thin air to prove their point, while the pro-BD crowd just keeps showing the real side of the story.
Who are they tring to kid anyway?
If, when, my 360 craps out on me and MS has not initiated another free repair, then yes, I will sell my 360. I have already decided on not renewing my Gold acct because of all the troubles with live since Christmas, and MS insults me with a free game. Will that decision change in a year, possible, my Gold acct does not expire untill '09. But unless something drastic happens, I will not be renewing it.
