IBM has no plans to continue developing the PowerCell architecture, but they do plan on integrating the Cell into their future POWER roadmap. So instead of producing two architectures, they are merging them into one.
That doesn't rule out the idea of them designing an updated version of the Cell for Sony. I find it highly unlikely that anyone but IBM would design and produce anything based on the Cell architecture. And if they did so, its unlikely that the development ...

Sorry, but there is plenty of complaining from both camps. And NO ONE plays the "N4G Victim" card as much as 360 fanboy.
Son of a...forgot to preorder this. Damn you November.
Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and pay tax.
Sony had the NFL Gameday franchise, but Madden pretty much killed it in the PS2 years. Then EA acquired exclusive rights from the NFL, which for now is through 2013.
I have a feeling its going to take a lot of money to wrestle that contract away from EA, and considering that the NFL's primary audience is in the US Sony would probably have a hard time turning a profit in the current landscape.
Too far away. When its closer to release it will jump up to #1 most likely.
Edit: Ugh...meant to be in reply to Bereaver.
Things went downhill for SE when they intentionally tried to target the west. They need to stick to their strengths, and not dumb down their RPGs for the ADHD call of duty crowd that can't sit through a 5 minute cutscene.
Disclaimer: I realize that not every CoD player falls in to this category. But a large majority just want to hop online and pop some caps. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing SE creates is going to appeal to them.
You know, I'd rather have proof that it DID come out. I have been following the development of this game since it was announced, and I never recall a release date being set.
Also, if it had released prior to the outage, why take so long to relaunch it? Why take it off the store to begin with?
Wifi. You could probably download them to a PS3 or PC as well, and transfer to your Vita via USB.
I agree with RBdrift. Even if 3G gaming was made available, the latency would be unacceptable for shooters and fighting games, which make up a large portion of the online gaming community. MMOs would probably be okay though, and perhaps that will be considered.
Maybe down the road there will be a 4G model, and then gaming could open up. I wouldnt expect the data plans to be cheap though.
I'm not a big conspiracy theorist, but I do believe that reviewers play follow the leader. "IGN scores a game lower than expected? Ha, I'm going to score it even lower!"
You see this time and time again. There should be much more variation in review scores, unless you want to argue that just about every reviewer out there has the same general taste.
I don't think that most reviewers "are out to get" Sony, MS, or Nintendo, ...
One thing Sony should consider is eliminating the PSN pass requirement for PS+ subscribers. That would add value to PS+, and give gamers that buy used an option similar to XBL.
Of course that would only apply for Sony titles. 3rd Party passes would still be required.
Just shut up man. You are trying too hard.
You probably don't even own KZ3, or a PS3 for that matter.
Uhh, Transformers: Dark of the Moon is considered the best 3D movie to date...released just this summer. Lion King 3D got quite a bit of pub too.
Square Enix is a publicly traded business. They have a responsibility to their shareholders to make money. I'm not sure why folks bring that up as if its a bad thing.
That said, I think its unlikely that VS goes multiplatform. This console generation is winding down, and Square doesn't need to delay this game any more. They need to evaluate the cost and difficulty of porting a game that was designed ground up for the PS3.
I know that the 360 ver...
No Tanir, its probably because Uncharted is a great franchise.
I'm looking forward to VS, but claiming that its going to be better than UC3 is a bit premature.
I think it will largely depend on how Tales of Graces F performs. If it does reasonably well in N/A, Xillia may come as well. So anyone who cares about Tales needs to get out and by Graces day one.
Its not really a port. Its a different game.
Bill Gates was NOT a programming genius. He was a business genius. He had incredible foresight into the future personal computing. He could look at a piece of software and say "this is going to be big, I want it."
The only thing he screwed up on was the internet. MS was late to the party, and if they had waited much longer it could have drastically affected MS's current dominance in PC operating systems.

What was that about "grammer" RedDragan?
