Which is the equivalent?
My guess: Fall 2017.
31.6 Billion Yen operating income, 51.0 Billion Yen netincome.
They seem to be back on track. Congrats, Nintendo!
Please don't cough this fish up!!
What I have seen and read about points to good, maybe excellent cinematic entertainment. I am curious how the final game turns out.
Personally I don't like cinematic type games and prefer more freedom and complexer gamemechanics, but that's a matter of taste.
Just want to add, that not meeting demand on purpouse is also a selling/marketing strategy. You create the feeling, that the product is valuable and rare, or so popular that it is soldout everywhere.
You can bet, that if they would surpass demand and the shelves would be overflowing with amiibos, the news would be: Amiibos selling like shit - Nintendo is doomed.
But you maybe right and they just underestimated the demand.
PC and WiiU combo was good 2014. And it was an AMAZING year for marketing.
@rocketpanda
Being experienced in something gives you indeed a higher opinion. To assess the value of something you have to compare it to other stuff. Just think about it. Coffee, movies, women, art, literature and so forth ... Example: If you only read harry potter you might think it's the most awesome book ever written. It is not. And that's definitly not an opinion, but a fact. One can educate his senses. That doesn't mean that one cannot have fun with somethin...
I really don't understand this common praise for a mediocre game. Environment is beatuiful and soundtrack is good. But storywise, dialog, combat and charaktersystem is lacking a lot imo. I am playing roleplaying games since C64 and this is definitly not a game of the year. (Although the year itself wasn't filled with highlights.) I allways suppose that younger gamers fell in love with DAI since they have nothing to compare it with. I might fool myself here in false hope for higher sta...
It was sold out almost everywhere in it's first week here in germany. Even amazon didn't have any stock. I think retailers underestimated the demand.
Good, fun and relaxing game btw.
Even for a news post, a summary in the authors own words would be appropriate. It's just copy paste. Also I cant find a link to the source.
>>> open for all platforms
>>> 2 modes (Conquest and new gamemode: Hotwire)
>>> 2 maps
>>> no levelcap
... here you go.
Contestant for most lazy article.
Here is the original blogpost: http://www.battlefield.com/...
You can.
Just start.
Keep doing it.
You will digress ...
so start again.
And allways have fun.
As with most stuff: there is no shortcut. We have to put in the time and work to get good.
If you got a strong inner motor and put in even more time and work ... ppl will call you talented.
I agree. This artwork is boring for me. The titan has no weight, the horse looks wooden, the soil looks like icecream. Not enough contrast, boring colors and structure, too diffuse.
Acceptable as a sketch and I like that he shares about his workflow.
Personally I love the gamepad. It could be a bit more ergonomic though. All in all it's just not utilized properly, maybe in parts due to not strong enough hardware.
There lies so much creative potential in it ... it's sad, that for third parties the userbase is too small to legitimate the creation of wii u exclusives.
Good article btw.
"Good enough" kinda gets the new standard for releases unfortunately, since enough gamers buy their stuff anyway. Publishers know that by now and calculate with it. They know their product, they know the state in which they release it, and they know that they will sell a ton on hype. Polishing costs time, sweat and money after all.
For that reason I buy most games only as goty-edition, gold-edition or whatever they call it. With the exception of multiplayer games and Ninten...
Cheers, nucky.
All digital and allways online are just not practical in the moment and more of a disadvantage for the consumer. I agree. We all know how that idea turned out for Microsofts Xbox division.
But as stated in the article, retail and digital revenue streams are both healthy. I just don't get where you read out of the article, that the industry wants to go all digital and will hence collapse.
??? ... would you mind to explain your notion to me?
New 3DS not selling well? Where did you get that from?
I had the feeling it's selling great for a simple beef-up. I could be mistaken of course.
Not much info in the video.
Read the headline and add a questionmark - you are fine.
