Nostalgia is human nature, that's why we take pictures and videos of ourselves, so we can remember and relive those experiences years later. It's no different to our gaming experiences. However, I agree that publishers do capitalise on our nostaligia, but alot of teh times it is what the fans asked for anyway. A FFVII was almost demanded by the fans, especially as it had missed 2 console Generations.
But yeah, we need more innovation in gaming, and I hope the next g...
But the point stands, that no one had played the game from beginig to end and everyone was judging it based on the apparent leaked plot. It's fair and proper to reserve judgement until the full experience is in people hands.
As such, I'm going to avoid reviews until I play the game for myself, at this point bias has been introduced into the mix, like a fly in soup - low scores will get flamed, and high scores will also get flamed.
Interesting article, but here's the thing, TLOU2 will still sell bucketloads. Games have leaked before, and it takes more than just plot leaks to derail a game. I've said this before and will continue saying it, a game is more that just the sum of it's parts. There are so many more games that we love becasue of the game mechanics, or becasue of the multiplayer, or becasue of the boss fights, or the rpg progression, or the freedom of the open world, or the sense of immersion and wo...
Between the Witcher 1 & 2 I clocked in over 200+ hours on Steam, I did'nt even realise it. Witcher 1 has aged quite badly, I have to say; but Witcher 2 still holds up today. A Remaster trilogy bundle would be a really good bargain.
It's interesting that their next game could be something sci-fi. It would.be a departure from what they usually do, which is good.
Savage Starlight anyone? Check this out - > https://www.unseen64.net/20...
All I want to know is, when is this game releasing for PS5?
I'm pretty sure this game is going to be released on PS5. The question is, can I wait till then?
The more I see pf this game, the more excited I get for it. I'm excited for the co-op campaign, it's a shame it can't be split screen co-op (maybe on next gen consoles?).
Yeah, I'm looking forward to how the extra 3 months, plus the funding from MS will improve the game. I'd love for the main player characters to be voiced, and to have more character customisation options.
I'm playing through Wasteland 2 Directors Cut at the moment. For some reason I couldn't get into it when it first released. It's a great game, but you're right - not many ppl will appreciate it, probably due to the old school aesthetics. But Wasteland 3 might change that, I'm definitely getting that as well.
I know this game is getting alot of hate right now, But man, I'm still super psyched to play it. Yeah, the story might not turn out how I want it to, and I probably might end up passionately mad at Druckman and ND - I jusy don't know yet as I've tried to most of the spoilers. But I won't judge a book by it's cover, or meme, or leaks or whatever.
Firstly, I'm going to reserved judgemnt until I play the full experience; and secondly, I have so many ga...
I might have to jump back into WarhammerII
I loved RE7, especially in VR. However for me it'll have to be God of War for GOTG
Yeah first thing without fail is to invert the Y-axis (especially if it's a shooter).
🤣
PS3 Release in November in most territories. PS4 also released in November in most territories (except Japan), so it would make sense for the PS5 to release in October / November 2020. However with the COVID19 outbreak, it's anyone's guess how it has impacted manufacturing, shipping, transportation, stock alocation and retail. At this point it wouldn't actually surprise me if the launch got postponed to between Januray - March 2021.
The Last of Us, and a close Second in Uncharted 2.
Here's hoping for a PS5 sequel.
Yeah, after the disaster that was Metal Gear Survival, you can have your Metal Gear. Wake me up when you manage to get Kojima on board.
