I know... I know..., it was a launch title that just about managed to sell over a million copies, BUT, the graphics, the story telling, the level of character depth and emotion of all the characters, and the acting was superb. You could complete the game in one sitting, but it will be a superb gaming experience, on a par with Uncharted 2n in terms of story telling, characters and immersion. It would be a crying shame if Sony let the IP go to waste.
Cannot wait for KZ3. GG have a very rich back story, if you read through it on their site. They need to really tap into that and expand the KZ universe. I was reading somewhere that Sony sent out a survey asking about which PS2 games should be remastered in HD. My vote is definately Killzone 1.

I was in two minds about getting this (especially as RedDead is also out), but I have to say, after playing the demo, I'm sold. Not had this much fun from a kart racer since mario kart. IMO the editor elevates it to the best kart racer bar none. My 4 year old son made a complete track in like 2 minutes. Fair enough he just drove the tractor in random directions, but once he understood how to connect the track, he was off creating his own tracks and test racing them. I was amazed how easy ...
I was abit gutted when the demo had restrictions such as racing the track that I had created, or not being able to use the mod character I had created to race; but one thing I noticed was the "due to popular demand..." notices which basically said it will be included in the full version due to popular demand.
I'm willing to bet that UFG has DLC planned, and also that things like battle mode will be in the pipeline. Shame it'll be sold as DLC instead of be...
Well Most game journo's who review a game, do Not present the information in a wal that suggests it's just an opinion. If this is the case game journo's should not then attach a score to the review. A score makes an Absolute stattement on the game, and removes the subjectivity of the reviewer. If I were to review an opera, it would not matter that Pavarotti (God rest his soul), was performing, it would probaly never get a 9/10. I don't 'get' opera, and I would much prefer cirque de soleil!!! ...
Then why did you not use MAG in your article if you thought it was a 'Hit'. Why set yourself up for epic FAIL, by calling 'miss' on a game you know you haven't played, and for which you have not done your research?
Heavy Rain will garner critical acclaim! It will not sell the same numbers as Mass Effect2, but it definately will not be a 'miss'! The first review is already in from the UK Official Playstation Magazine, and it scored a 9/10. Other sites that have had hands-on time...

Uncharted 2 is basically the Highest rated exclusive game on next gen platforms. Beating all of the xbox360 exclusives - including Gears of War 1 and 2, Halo 1, 2 3 etc etc. ( The only other next-gen game to compete is Mario Galaxy on the Wii (97)- but we all know the wii is not in the same league)
I don't get why they wouldnt release a demo, they could just give us the taxidermist to play around with, it's not even included in the actual game!

Hmmm... Maybe Konami knows something about the new PS3 Slim and backwards compatibility. I mean if Sony manufacturing costs are down 70%, they can now afford to make the new model PS3 backward compatible aye?!!

I don't understand why devs are don't allow conrols to be fully customisable, RE5, KZ2 suffered because of teh rigid control sceme. Wants teh big deal with allowing teh player to control the charachter how they want?
...familiarity. Unfortunately we seen too many sreenshots, videos and spoilerss that it breeds contempt. Thats the problem with getting sucked too deep into the hype, it's the problem with beta's and demo's, advance previews and hands on that the gaming press get exposed to.
I've had KZ2 on pre-order since last year, was invited to the beta and have over played the demo (3+ times every day since it was released) and you know what, as much as I hate to admit it, I am already get...
no idea what Valve are thinking alientating themsselves from teh PS3 fanbase... talk about being short sighted. The day will come when due to financial reasons, and the PS3's growing userbase, valve will develop for the PS3, and that day my friends... there will be big servings of all you can eat humble pie. And I can't wait for KZ3, for any of it's weaknesses, it is still the best looking FPS on consoles, and definately one of the best shooters around. Been watching some of the old trailers and developer diaries for KZ2 and I can't get over just how good the thing looks, the level of depth and density in any of the levels is unmatched. KZ3 will obviously take the ball and run with it, which means it will (hopefully) surpass KZ2. Here's hoping KZ3 is to KZ2 what Uncharted2 was to ...
