For a minute there I though the article was about the multipayer - speaking of which, and news about when we'll see the new multiplayer factions mode?
@meganick
Dude you need to go get your meds....
I'm with you on this Fox, I'm both disappointed by the delay, and yet encouraged that Sony would take a stand against racism. As a person of colour myself, I welcome it.
On the other hand, those Last of Us previews have restored that small glimmer of hope, that the game will be another gem.
You logic fails on a number levels. Firtly, Sony have given reviews copies to BOTH big gamig news sites lke IGN AS WELL AS smaller sites like the one above.
Secondly, if a site is so small as to be "irrelevant" then surely their review score, either positive or negative will also be irrelevant in terms of having any significant impact. So why bother?
Unless ofcourse your premise is completely false, and Sony are simply covering a numer of gami...
That was a brilliantly well written article.👏
Does it need anymore funding at this point? Isn't $250million enough to make and deliver a game over a 7 year period?
I think that's yet to be seen, no?
I've got TLOU on PS3 and PS4. I think I'll keep up the tradition and get TLOU2 on PS4 and PS5 😊
I don't think it'll be a different version as such, just the usual PS5 GOTY port with all the extra's etc etc.
The Last of Us Day 1. Disintegration looks intersting though, might pick that one up eventually..
I don't think anyone is surprised. Same goes for Ghost of Tsushima. The only question is, who's willing to wait for the PS5 versions?
It must be a real balancing act for both Sony and Microsft in terms of how they devide to price their next gen consoles. The world is potentially facing another recession due to COVID. I gues it all comes down to how much of a loss their their willing to take on behalf of their share holders.
I think this may actually closer to the actual situation.
Probably more expensive than what they originally planned, given the current pandemic and lockdown situation.
Well he's right that the best "value proposition" doesn't mean the lowest price. Reading between the lines (and drawing from previous Sony financial statements), I think Jim is aluding to the fact that the COVID19 pandemic has affected manufacturing prices, cost of components and shipping. So the "value proposition" of still going ahead with launching the PS5 during holiday 2020 has changed for Sony; ergo the price of the console has probably had to be revised upwa...
I love Prey. Mooncrash is one the best released DLC. I probably would rate it as high as the game itself.
Yeah, I get really worried sometimes with how loud my PS4 gets. I got a PS4Pro because I thought my PS4 was going to combust. But now my Pro is louder than my standard PS4, I've done everything to try and cool it down, cleaned the vents, turned it upside down etc etc. But nope, it still sounds like a jet engine.
That's a massive file size. I hope it's quality all top notch content.
It's true that as the overall complexity of games increases, so does the dev times. But yeah I Hope we get more games next gen. I'm guess that since backwards compatibility will be a big issues, we'll get alot of PS5 "remasters" and "PS5 GOTY Editions" of PS4 games.
I can see why they cancelled it, even for a X360 / PS3 game.
