This is the same EDGE that refused to review Death Stranding? Yeah they've just lost all credibility in my book.
Mmm... She looks... horny!
I pre-ordered this game weeks ago. Shows how much I care about basement game journalists.
Why do we even empower random strangers to tell us what we should or shouldn't like based on their arbitrary scores. It's not like there's even a consensus on what a score of 10/10 even means. Does it mean it's a perfect game? Does it mean everyone will like it?
When you have two people working for the same company and one person gives that game a 9,...
This has to be the height of their pretentious bullshit. I'd love to be able to go to work and tell my boss- "I'm not going to do my job today because I just can't be bothered."
Entitled pr***s!
I can't wait to play this game, and just get lost in its world. I get that it's not for everybody, but from what I've been hearing, it's exactly my kind of game.
EGM gave it a 10/10. What's your point?
In reality, Kojima was probably working on this as a side project while making MGS. From alot of the Death Stranding theory vids that are out there, apparently P.T. aka Silent Hills got reimagined as Death Stranding.
Well he's played the game, and he obviously thinks it is... so..
They've gone full pachinko mode!
Exaclty. Games like Detroit Become Human, and Days Gone evidence the fact that the critics sometimes have one agenda, that the gaming public simply don't have. Both those games sold very well for sony - despite the criticism from the gaming press. Heck Days Gone already has a sequel green lit by Sony because it sold so well - 6th best selling playstation exclusive.
I think you're being disingenuous. No one is equating Kojima with Einstein, or DaVinci. But among game creators he is up there with the best of them.
We don't have game awards and then include nuclear physicists or Mathmaticians - they're just not in the same category. But among game creators, within the gaming industry - Kojima has earned his stripes, and deserves that accolades he has under his belt.
If there are people who are qualified to...
Yep, and whatever way the reviews go, it'll still cause a $h17 storm.
I see what you did there. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Nope! It's just you.
The same thing can be said about your article btw.
tl:dr It was a complete waste of time.
I love Inception, one of my all time favourite films.
My sentiments exactly. But in all honesty I don't think anything could have stopped me from watching that trailer. Best game trailer I think I've seen in years. I hope the game is as epic as the trailer.
That trailer was like watching a mini movie. It was awesome. Hopefully the spoilers are not major ones.
Nope. All you gaming journalist that just want to focus on just the negatives are so stale and unoriginal. Why didn't you quote to overwhelmingly positive review comments?
Oh wait - cheap clickbait right?
The real question you should be asking is if we should be worried about the state of games journalism.
