Absolutely. I'm amzed at the stuff I constatly find... especially the fact that there are mini-bosses practically everywhere. So glad they didn't take the cheap noobie route that western devs take and fill the map with clutter. They left it up to the player to place different markers on the map if they want to - which is such a simple, but genious idea.
No way this game is coming out in 3 years... maybe 5 at least... definately not 3, this is Rockstar we're talking about.
But why do you keep putting them in the situation where they keep having to "rebuild" their games.
Who had the dumb idea to remove the scoreboard in the first place.
I thought social justice issues were not allowed on N4G?
This is lamebait really, any studio anywhere around the world can develop any type of game they like. Their race, colour, gender or culture does not prevent them from developing a game set in another cultural context.
Article should be failed.
So many great games coming out in February, it has become the new November. I can't wait for Warhammer III.
I completely agree with you anout 2042. I don't think I played it for upto a month and I was done with it. It's not total garbage, but it comes pretty close.
^Exactly this.
You need to clarify if you are refering to the PS5 exclusive Demon Soul's Remake by Bluepoint Games, or if you are referring to the original Demon Soul's by FROMSoftware?
The PS5 exclusive Demon Souls is absolutely a graphical showcase, and is an all round technical masterpeice... but it is a Remake that wasn't developed by FROMSoftware.
I don't think anyone plays any of the Soulsbourne games for the graphical fidelity. It's all about the gameplay, the same will be true for Elden Ring.
I'm having so much fun with the world of Assassination, I think more devs should make their sequels seamless experiencess. IO did a brilliant job, Hitman 3 is definately my PC game of 2021.
Exactly this^^^
I also should have cancelled my pre-order after the beta, but I got strong armed into keeping the game from my old BFV buddies. The game is just a complete travesty of what a true Battlefield game should be.
You forgot Battelfield 2042, that's definately in the top 3 most disappointing games this year.
February is turning out to be a great month for games.
I didn't think Returnal was that hard, or that long of a game tbh. Everyones got a backlog of games anyway so I wouldn't singleout anyone one game, but yeah some gamers will naturally gravitate towards the replayability of some games over others. Personally I loved Returnal and completed it within a week or two of release; I hope they have more story DLC down the line to add to it's replayability though.
Speaking of replayability, I'm currently replaying the...
Hitman, now there's a game about replayability. Especially with how IOI have implemented the world of assassination and the other elements like the ellusive targets, challenges etc. Hours of endless fun.
This was a fun game, but yeah then need to add new races sooner rather than later. The starting two factions get stale too quickly, and they also need to let you play the Tyranid cmpaign. The omission is just cheap imho.
Yeah this game just didn't have a big marleting push. It's such a fun game though, but unfortunately EA hasn't done much to promote the game. It's great that it is cross play though, and that it's free to try until lvl 25.
Not really. Is it rough around the edges? Sure. Does it need tweaking and patching 9n a few places, sure. But "a complete disaster" it is not.
Dunno... I quit out about 3 weeks after launch.
