Hmm... seems like this aligns with the apparently leaked beta date.
Yes... yes they are..
Kotaku...smh... I'm not even going to bother.
Battlefield 2042 here I come.
I think it's more likely to be a sequel to Returnal. Probaly some DLC first to give it more marketability, but I think an eventual sequel makes sense.
Probably waiting for a milestone before they announce the numbers.
It's great that this game is getting traction among gamers. I'm actually really surprised that most player deaths are casued by Phrike. The Fallen in the Fractured Wastes for example, must have killed me so many times, it got to the point where I just avoided them at all costs.
Too right. I'm so much more intrugued about the backstory. Not just Selene's back story, but the back story about how they actually got to the panet. What's the deal with the mothership and the other scouts. Then you have the back story of Atropos itself and the war of the Fallen etc. So much fertile group to develop a whole universe full of lore. I hope HouseMarque get's the green light for whatever way they want to continue to story.
Well it doesn't mean that the game can't still be fully realised on current gen consoles (PS5 & X/S)
I get it with the autosave option, and I'm all for it. But in all honesty it's just so overblown. My average time for a run is about 15-20 mins before I get mauled. Sure a run can last up to an hour. But are you telling me that you've never had a gaming session that lasted an hour??? C'mon now, we've all had gaming sessions that have lasted half the night. But all of a sudden it's too long to have a run last more that 10minutes without saving?!
The f...
Same here. I love Total warhammer, but am a big fan of Warhmmer in general and have alot of the different games as well as the 40k table-top game.
So glad for HouseMarque that Returnal was a critical hit. Hopefully the sales follow through and Sony see fit to bank roll a sequeal.
The suicide mission was brilliant and a high watermark fo the entire series. The consequences of your previous actions, and the characters you saved or lost during the game were reflected in that last mission. In fact there was a trophy for getting to that last mission without loosing any characters. Apart from the mission itself, the story and buildup, and then the various endings. It was definately the high point of the series.
And then Anrdomeda brought the whole franchise to a close.
If EA can release a game like Jedi fallen Order, then I see no reason why they can't release smaller standalone games withtin the Mass Effect Universe. There's just so much back story, and they could pick up with anyone of the companion characters.
DLC like lair of the shadow broker, demonstrated that we don't really need commaner Shepherd to enjoy Mass Effect. I'd play a standalon...
Hollowseeker for me all day long. Especially when you unlock the Portal beam AND portal turret at the same time. It just becomes an unstoppable death machine against all enemies. Every boss that I faced with the hollowseeker succumbed to their injuries. :)
Yeah those challenge rooms! I'm not even convinced that the loot drops are particularly worth the pain. I go in there and come out limping and inches away from death, and haven't really gotten anything to show for it.
I finally got up to the last Biome and faced up to the final boss. My goodness, I got my a$$ handed to me but man, what a rush. Such a brilliant game.
You can do it. The trick is to be very selective with the gear that you collect. I always save up obolites for the Astronaut figurine, and Ether for the Sarcophagus checkpoint. Then I hunt for resin until I have lots of extra health. Avoid malignants as well, it's often not really worth the gamble. Also if you can find the parasite that repairs your suit at low integrity, I think that's one of the best ones to have. Only then do I even think about going to take on the boss. I have t...
Allround fantastic game. I think for audio design at least, this games needs to get an award.
You guys are just reaching now tbh. It was a great showcase. Give credit where credit is due. You don't always have to play the contrarian card. Enjoy life. Appreciate the little things. Smile more. You'll live longer.
