That's a good question. From all the information that's been released so far it seems that it is single player only. But yeah HouseMarque seem to always have a co-op element in tneir games, so it would be interesting to see with Returnal.

Being an adult gamer, the biggest obstacle to playing games is time.As such I have to be alot more selective in the games that I buy. However, I still have a massive backlog to get through.

Playing Demon's Souls on PS5 it really is a game changer. For example, when you cast a spell, the way the effect ripples across the Dualsence controller - in time with the sound effect and the animation and graphical payoff on screen - it adds soo much more weight and immersion to the experience.

The "better experiece" does very much depent on how creatively developers impliment the feedbck though.

Honestly, 13 Sentinels was a million miles from the type of game that I play. I thought it was just an anime interacgive graphic novel with a tower defense element. But I played it, and while it is niche, it's a great game. The story and characters is really what carries the game.

I see what you did there. 😉

I think CDPR have already mitigatd lot of this by offering full refunds as well as releasing a number of patches that have fixes some issues in the game. No doubt more patches will follow in the coming weeks and months. The fact that the game is not on the playstation store will also impact them financilly, that's also a massive motivator to get the game fixed as soon as they can.

For me the first must have exclusive was Demon's Souls. But yeah, for 2021 my next day1 is Returnal.

Yeah I had to give up on Cyberpunk2077, and I picked this up instead. So far I'm loving the story, it is definately quirky though, very niche. But it's great that word of mouth is spreading about the game.

Yeah, that next gen price point is a bummer.

I really don't believe we need a remake of Bloodbourne at this stage. The PS5 can already mitigate alot of the "technical limitations" that the game had on PS4.

If Bluepoint are going to work on a project, let them work on a game that wasn't released in the last gen console cycle. You got classics like Vagrant Story for example - now imagine that being given a next gen coat of paint.

Yeah, I really tried to enjoy Cyberpunk, but man I can't help but be dissaponted in the whole thing. Playing on consoles is such a kick in the teeth because the makings of a great game is buried deep in there somewhere.

Anyway, I've officially abandoned Cyberpunk and I've been playing 13 Sentinels. FIrst time I've played a game like it, and so far I'm really enjoying it. Much more than I did Cyberpunk 2077 anyway.

Shame, no word on a release date or other platforms (apart from Switch).

You're conveniently omitting the part where CDPR said to investors "The game works fine on last gen consoles"

The game DIDN'T work fine on last gen consoles.

What do you call that?

I never once implied that consumers are the investors, or that the consumers are the ones who are suing. Where you pulling that from??? Neither am I assuming anything, I'm going by the details of the law suit itself. The filing states that the period in question is between January 16th, 2020 and December 17th, 2020. That's pretty late in the day if you ask me. But it means that all through 2020 CDPR we're marketing for investment money - and they got alot of it. Why do you think t...

Riiiight......

Again you're being disingenuous. The investors are not sueing just because the game didn't sell as expected.

The game didn't sell as expected BECAUSE CDPR mislead invstors and consumers about the state of the game on last gen consoles. If CDPR had told investors and consumers the true state of the game on PS4 and X1 they would have probably had less investment.

They deliberately witheld console reviews, and told investors that the game runs fi...

Not true. You've completely missed the point here with your over simplification.

Simply put, if I want investment money from you, I'm not allowed to lie to you, or mislead you about the details, and the state of the product for which I want your investment money. This is BEFORE the product come to market.

When the product then comes to market and it turns out that I have indeed mislead you, and the product is not what I advertised; under investmen...

@RgR

Please explain what you mean by, "runs fine on the target platform."

Are you suggesting that PS4 and X1 were not the "target platform?" Then who was it that released Cyberpunk2077 on PS4 and X1? Oh wait... it was CDPR.

Now you understand why they are getting sued by investors. CDPR themselves said the game was targeting PS4 and X1. CDPR told investord that PS4 and X1 were target platforms, and that the game runs...

Sure they'll defend themselves vigourously, but it's still time and money down the drain. Plus there's simply no question that the game wasn't ready for release on last gen consoles. If you agree to offer full refunds, then you've already admitted the game was broken at launch.

I hope this teaches the CDPR execs a very valuable lesson.

I hope they bring it to other consoles.
