Mobile games are a cancer on the industry. They take no time to code and print money for the devs.
If people accept these games as videogames and their players as videogamers, then it won't be long before the balance of power regarding the future of gaming is passed on to casual 5 minute a day gamers (they already outnumber us massively).
We have to maintain a distinction between casual players and gamers otherwise we run the risk of the needs of the cas...
DC is a lot better than FM5, and considering its a new IP that makes it even more impressive.
@UkrainianWarrior
DC has outsold Horizon massively, the gamers are a better litmus test than metacritic any day.
Horizon had its "ass beat" in sales figures which is more important to any developer, publisher and gamer wanting future installments.
DC was slaughtered by the critics but adored by gamers, FH2 was praised by critics but ignored by gamers.
"Only MS can deliver this. Can't wait to see what else MS uses the cloud for; combined with win10+DX12, MS reallyhas the most powerful console ever made."
Are these the words of a "Level headed gamer" or an empty headed loser?
Seriously, you can't truly believe the crap you write do you?
@JoJo
Your facts were inaccurate and when you 'corrected' the comments you were incorrect.
Nothing to do with fanboyism, saying that something is a fact doesn't make it a fact.
The high poly count cars WERE only present in the garage (look up the dev interviews on the subject).
Gotta love that Forza cartoon show. The cars can be as detailed ás you like but Forza will never be realistic because the oversaturation of colours looks so artificial.
The extra level of realism on DriveClub won't likely be matched by any Forza this generation (that's where the power difference of 50% comes in).
DriveClub is still relevant because it has been consistently growing as an experience since launch.
It has by far the best DLC content of any console game and represents a new way of gaming (a game ecosystem that genuinely grows and evolves over time unlike any other).
The physics and handling are the perfect balance for the type of game it is.
"Considering Forza 6 came out 1 year after Driveclub, I'd hope it has better weather effects."
And yet more hopes are dashed. DriveClub looks superior to the new Forza in every way.
Forza can try to copy DriveClub's weather effects as much as they like but it looks just like a poor facsimile.
There's also a minor flutter to 57-58 a bit later in but looking pretty good.
Jumping Flash....[Optimised for Morpheus]
Or playing "The Order 1886"
Sorry, I made that joke earlier in the thread, but you just set it up perfectly.
The resolution only seems bizarre until you consider its logical "raison d'être".
Let's study the clues for one moment;
1) It displays a native 1920x720 resolution.
2) The battery life is approximately 2 hrs.
Conclusion:
It's an add-on specifically designed for playing a full run-through of "The Order 1886"... obviously /jk
It's battery operated and fully portable (about 7" x 3" x 3/4" by my estimation).
I think wireless will be a safe bet, maybe remote play through vita??
The "concept" of linking a PS4 to a portable projector? You and me are on the same page...trailblazers /s.
@XBLSkull
I don't know anybody with a 120" TV in their house ( which is the maximum size of the projected screen).
I'd consider getting one for when friends come to visit and we want a cheap, temporary screen upgrade.
@grumpy
You shouldn't buy anything from anyone on hype alone.
If you haven't used PlayStation TV, you obviously had no need for it in the first place. Everybody knew exactly what it was before it launched.
I'm not having a go at you, just pointing out the folly of buying tech just for the sake of having the latest gadget.
That's more than good enough.
Remember its a projector so they aren't hard pixels, you are going to lose image quality whatever the resolution (or rather trade it in for a softer image).
@Blaze
A videogame without gameplay is a bad game, a videogame without visuals is no game at all.
Graphics get downplayed too much at the moment, they are vital to most games' success.
Lol, I'm sorry but is this the best that MS can do with the technology that was designed into the XBOne DNA?
You'd think that they'd have released one decent kinect title by now if they were making such a fuss about it at launch.
OK, they dropped the mandatory requirement but surely they must have had some amazing software waiting in the wings to show off how fantastic the tech is? No?
Thank goodness they weren't able to con a...
^^^Stupid comment of the day.
A computer that has errors! That's unheard of, what with windows being so famously stable and bug free, In fact I can't think of a single electronic device that has ever had problems of any kind.
As for the "unreliable PSN", I must be one of the lucky ones as I've had no issues whatsoever.
