'In Mind' does not mean supporting the entire feature set, its a PR fudge.

@Raggy-rocket

You are very much mistaken.

Actually Microsoft did say it was "built from the ground up with DX12 in mind", which does kind of suggest full support but if you think about it they would have made a much bigger noise if it did.

That has literally nothing to do with the article whatsoever.

You talk about common sense but don't have enough of it to read before you comment.

I just watched the trailer, now I feel dirty. Why do those naked women have children's faces? Do I get arrested now? Will my hard drive be confiscated?

Little Big Planet has many times that number of user generated maps (or are you talking FPS specifically?)

When Doom first arrived on PlayStation I played it over and over, the first time I found 'Club Doom' I almost had a heart attack.
Great memories.

Don't mention 'Deep Down' in an article about a failed game, I have high hopes for that title.

No, its a brilliant game, you're just not very good at it. /s

@Scissors

The average PS4 is more powerful than the average gaming rig (just check steam stats if in doubt).

I just checked and mine has gone too. Scary!

I feel.....violated!

It was well announced that it was being deleted, you should have kept it on your drive.

What's the point in scoring something out of 10 if you have to use a decimal point?

If you don't have enough scope on a ten step scale, score it out of 100. They may as well call it 0.88/1.

For some reason (and despite it being common practice) this is annoying me today.

Is the 'bugger budget" a rent-boy fund?

If they produce a decent game most people will forget about this in a moment.

It's funny how this industry works, imagine if people refused to buy Ford cars because the management fell out with a car designer.

Sony and Microsoft are both committed to making decent hardware and software, why would they stop?

Nintendo have no interest in hardware other than creating a place for its software to be played on. Why not stick to what they're good at and make software for proper consoles.

"Look at last gen. Wii was far inferior and sold more."

And it was such a great experience that they lined up in droves when the WiiU was launched...Oh wait!

Wii was such great fun that it put 90% of its users off of owning a console altogether.

I'm pretty sure that the drop in user base from Wii to WiiU is the biggest in console history by a huge margin.

I say it as I see it. Yes my comment may have been a little tongue-in-cheek, but the sentiment is real.

I know that they unlock DLC and stuff, that is what makes it worse. The only way to own the whole game is by buying a bunch of plastic dolls, otherwise you miss out.

In what way is that good for the consumer?

Also you talk about Nintendo's stockpile of cash as if its a good thing, it only exists because they are too tight to invest in t...

Even if in the future you're paying twice as much for half the performance?

The thing is that now DX12 is out, AMD have been proven to make better performing hardware than Nvidia.
Nvidia cards are reporting a performance hit in some areas with DX12 and much cheaper AMD cards out-performing them.

Finally AMD cards will be performing to their potential, but it seems Nvidia have already been doing so for a while now.

If AMD can continue to produce cheaper, more powerful cards, how long will Nvidia's better driver support hol...
