I've just been playing Rocket League in split screen, I forgot how much fun split screen gaming was (so it seems have you).
Split screen pisses all over online multiplayer in terms of laugh out loud fun (with certain games at least).
I've never played Halo in local multiplayer (I'm not an Xbox gamer), but I think those trying to downplay it as old fashioned and out of date are just trying to downplay their loss (or they have a poor memory).

The gameplay I've seen has some issues. I was watching a video yesterday that showed several NPC's fail to recognise the protagonist right in front of them until he was 6feet away.
Hopefully they can address the issues as the underlying game looks quite interesting.
It stopped happening to me after the last update. I thought the problem was fixed but apparently some are still having problems.
Glad that the game will have steam achievements, but why wouldn't it? its a shower simulator after all.
