@RPGrider
If the gamepad is so good, why does nobody use it for Smash Bros?
Surely functionality should be its prime design feature (rather than novelty value).
@RPGrinder
It's a cheap tablet screen attached to a game pad that had the effect of making it heavy and cumbersome.
The only reason its "different" is because nobody else was stupid enough to think it was a good idea.
I'm holding out for the Zune T-shirt.
LOL.
So if somebody has a different view of a game to the mainstream they are only doing it for clicks?
You have a different opinion on the matter to me, therefore your opinion is just for attention and you don't really believe it.
I picked up 2014 for £8, its actually pretty good fun (though admittedly niche).
There's definitely room for more realistic weaponry and fighting in video games.
I don't think I've played any game that has realistic swordfighting since Kengo.
The Queen of Europe?
The UK doesn't use the Euro so our taxes are not relevant (taxes throughout Europe vary hugely so that is not a factor).
We pay higher taxes for a better standard of living (our poor people aren't left to die when they get ill etc).
It is absolutely down to the EU to manage the markets for European trade, it is their overriding remit and main purpose for existing.
This is a stupid article. The point the author is making is that the game deserves a wider audience but that a port will lose what made the game special (tablet controller).
The only alternative to a port is to buy a WiiU and the game, which nobody is going to do.
It sold next to nothing on the WiiU so what alternative do the devs have if they want to recoup their costs.
He states that he hasn't played them. You are correct that somebody has played all these games over the past 30 years (don't know where you got 20 from), thats why he has used those peoples review scores. What's the problem with that?
Also why would he want to do 30 reviews for a single product? How much time effort and column inches should this review take up?
The article is just debating the relevant merits of the title as a whole based on indiv...
How can he write 30 reviews when he hasn't played most of the games?
This article just lists either metacritic scores or average reviews (for titles that predate metacritic).
The list of Commodore era games is pretty cool, don't care much after that.
So you are predicting Xbox to outsell PS4 by 7 million to 6 million, completely going against previous trends?
I'd say a more likely figure is;
PS4: 32-33 million
XOne: 16-17 million
It's a pretty good game (I bought it a couple of weeks ago for £20 on PS4). It's more fun than most strategic sims.
It's easy to make money when you produce "cheap" hardware that can be sold at a profit from day one.
Usually consoles are sold at a loss and any software sales have to first plug that gap.
Hopefully the NX will buck the trend as the only way I'd be interested was if it were insanely powerful (I only speak for myself of course).
Some say "Good job Nintendo", I say with the billions they have in the bank they should be invest...
@Mattyboombatty
Please use punctuation, you sound like a lunatic when you rant like that (your post doesn't even make sense).
Don't know exactly what you're trying to say.
Something about WiiU having the best exclusives (which is completely subjective as I have zero interest in WiiU exclusives whatsoever), something about WiiU being a complete failure (which I agree with) and something about Nintendo being able to take their console's...
No
Shut up about the bloody NX, nobody cares.
*IF* its released on the NX (which is currently only being considered), it will probably be really late anyway as there is still no launch date for the system. PS4 is the best place to play this game.
3DS is a must-have accessory for 8-15 year olds, that is the only reason it has sold so well.
Vita is aimed at a more mature market that no longer buys hand-helds.
