Yeah, this will really show the hard-core focus of Microsoft towards the Xbone. If this sells boxes, Microsoft will surely refrain from chasing the casual market/s.
No interest (or support) for American Football, no interest in Basketball, fantasy league crap, no cable compatibility, no language support for most languages, no launch in many countries, the list goes on.
When PS1 was announced, people were calling it the death of pc gaming (I still have magazine articles from that time). PC's at the time didn't have graphics cards, and had no way of rendering 3d graphics properly.
Then, just before the PSX launched, the first PC graphics cards were announced. These required new motherboards etc and took several years to become the norm.
@TheDevine
Try reading the article!!! The season pass is for the newly announced coop play and maps for it etc.
A non-violent boxing/UFC game would suck though, just two people standing opposite each other whistling and twiddling their thumbs. There is a place for both violent and non-violent games.
Your name isn't Rick! Is it Dick by any chance? Surname Head?
Lol, it beat Forza in the best driving game category and also got best multiplayer.
The Japanese love driving games so that makes it even more poignant.
@drsfinest72
If it were ms, they would deny all knowledge of the event, nobody would answer the question and Major Nelson would announce that Japanese electricity isn't of high enough quality to run the Xbone properly (or some other random BS).
The MS rep admitted there was a problem, that means THERE WAS A PROBLEM. Either that or MS themselves are jumping on the 'bone water's bandwagon. Which do you think is more likely?
The daily mail is a worthless rag, full of lies, scaremongering and propaganda to get millions of middle-class people to fall in line with their political agenda. You'd do the world a favour (especially the UK) by not stopping with the author, but culling the lot of them.
Hatters make hats, haters hate.
They said themselves that allowing for redundancymeant they could massively improve yields. This can only mean that a lot of Xbox owners will have a gimped machine without even realising.
@Elzer
" It's about *effectively* using and incorporating the device with the system that brings innovation." - like kinect 1? Lol
My Windows laptop crashes 2 or 3 times daily, my PS3 crashes once in a blue moon.
Microsoft's OS's are the most unstable on the planet, I suppose that comes from having no competition. You can get your monkeys to make any old crap and people are forced to buy it at extortionate prices (or pirate it fo...
@N4rc
Sony just built a 300hp Lotus Elise, that's the problem with your metaphor.
No it isn't more balanced at all (that's just the latest spin). Read my comment below.
The trouble is the setup is too complex in an effort to play catch-up. They talk about their 15 processors, but have also said that to improve yields, any of those processors can be redundant and the workload is taken up by the CPU.
This can therefore mean that in any given Xbox One, there could be several non-working processors which kind of screws the whole balance theme. How many Xboxes will run to their full design potential (if any)? What percentage will have several pro...
@NarooN
$599 (it says in the article).
@Frigid
And yet the hands-on said DriveClub was more impressive!!!
Is that 505 games or SOS games that developed this?
Well, American society is extremely prudish when it comes to nudity. The word 'Tidbits' for example was altered from the English word 'Titbits' because it was considered too rude (despite being derived from the small birds rather than female breasts).
Try finding a nudist beach in the US, or advertising using a naked body (however necessary or tastefully done).
