That's not what he said at all, he was merely suggesting how it would be possible to create a game in a way that tells a story dynamically in the way a film does (which Lucas and Spielberg suggested was impossible).
He is a visionary, he wants to move the medium on to new, uncharted territory. Without people like him games would stagnate and never progress to the point where they are considered a viable alternative to other art forms.

They are interactive entertainment, not necessarily toys. Girls are fun to play with too, does that make them toys? Are fast cars and motorbikes toys?
Why does everyone lately think they decide what constitutes a 'gamer'? People play games for any number of reasons, for distraction, for immersion, for pleasure. Pleasure and fun are not necessarily the same thing.
You don't choose what makes somebody a 'gamer'. If someone plays games they are a gamer whether 'fun' is their main focus or not.

If the lighting in FORZA 5 wasn't pre-baked, would Turn 10 not have 'corrected' people on this by now? Would they (or Microsoft for that matter) allow this 'rumour' to be perpetuated to the point of saturation if there was no truth in it?

You are the embodiment of Microsofts futile attempts to claim that the Xbox is as powerful as the PS4. Except you seem to believe it is even more powerful (which not even Microsoft try to convince people of). Microsoft themselves simply state that the PS4 isn't all that far ahead graphically speaking, even they admit to a performance gap (but try to negate the difference).
