@Malokevi
Nobody has complained about CD Project Red yet, so that makes your statement look a little whiny and pathetic. You're complaining about people complaining when nobody is complaining except you.
" Let's all complain about everything!!! woooooooooHOOOOOO!!!!!!"
No thanks, I'll leave that to you.
The Atari 2600 was released in 1977, the NES was released in 1986 here in Europe (1985 in NA and earlier still in Japan). They are not of the same generation, so a direct comparison is meaningless.
The reason I say the Atari was "the daddy" is not because it was better than the NES, but because it was the first console with changeable games that had mass penetration on a global scale. Prior to the 2600, there was only pong and pong-based self contained consoles whi...
Wow, you must feel very privileged to be *upgraded* like that. Seriously though, that must be annoying, I feel for you.
I think that has more to do with the fact that Xbox One is currently available in 13 territories vs the PS4's 1 territory. It will most definitely change come Friday.
I used them because their online business is competitive (I agree their stores are awful), they do pay UK taxes (unlike Amazon), and I'd rather they didn't go out of business.
Yeah, I got an email from Game last week saying they were going to take payment early and to make sure I had the funds in my account. They took payment on Monday ready for the UK launch on Friday. Maybe these people had their emails sent to junk mail, or they just didn't check their inbox.
Not really "without any explanation" at all (although it must be frustrating).
I did contact them a couple of months ago to ensure my details were up to date (which t...
@Nifonge
Of course its my opinion it's a completely subjective statement and can not possibly be seen as anything else by any right minded individual.
I appreciate gaming history more than most as I've been involved since the very beginning, way before it became mainstream, I just happen to hold a view that is not a popular one.
In fact I believe that since gaming has become so widespread in society it has lost a lot of the charm and creativity that ...
@GTA_manic
I'm actually 41 and genuinely hated the NES, was into C64/Amiga at the time. I really despised Mario and the NES in general.
As I've been gaming since the late 70's you can't have my gamer card as I outrank you all (well the vast majority anyway).
Sorry to say but the NES sucked at the time, I know a lot of newcomers think it was the daddy of consoles but it really wasn't, Atari 2600 was the one that changed e...
The NES was a turd of a console, and probably the ugliest design ever made. I hated it.
Kinect is one of PS4's greatest selling points (the fact that it doesn't have one).
Then order online you dumbass, where they ARE competitive. SMH
WiiU is hardly an alternative to a PS4. It has a completely different place in the market. Also try remote play on a WiiU when you're miles away from your console, not a good comparison at all.
It would be the same situation If I said I needed a new car for work and someone suggested I get a bicycle. Both would get you from A to B, but they're hardly the same thing.
They're often the cheapest in online comparisons, it varies from game to game but why would you walk blindly into any highstreet store to check prices?
Most places have two prices these days, one for online, one higher price for the store. Game is more than competitive if you know what you're doing.
It *IS* a fanboy article, written by Xbox fans on a dedicated Xbox site. You morons are so eager to attack anybody who has anything bad (however minor) to say about the Xbox that you're even attacking yourselves.
Even fans of Xbox are no longer alowed to say anything negative about the machine that they want to see improved without idiots like you calling them Sony fanboys.
The article is from "Thisisxbox", I suppose it must be run by Sony fanboys then /s.
The reason PAL was used historically was due to it having a better quality picture and better colour fidelity than NTSC ( often referred to as standing for "Never Twice Same Colour"). It was a trade off between picture quality and refresh rate.
HDTV's have essentially eliminated the discrepancy but not everyone has invested in one yet.
Dice said recently that they weren't going to license their engine (can't be bothered to look for source as I'm on my smartphone). They unequivocally refuted the idea.
Why would anybody want to perform/watch an unboxing in the first place? It's a complete waste of time/effort. Some people are so sad, honestly if somebody gets excited by someone else opening a frigging box they are a complete dork, no excuses.
Maybe I'll put up a video of me doing up my shoelaces, I'm sure it will give box-watchers an orgasm.
20 million seems a bit far fetched ( or did you inadvertently add an extra zero ?)
