Like I've said before, the lead platforms were PC and next gen consoles, gonna be released on all three around launch. No port required.

I loved Black and White!!! That's about it though.
Thats over a billion a year, and continues for several years to come. GTA makes money far quicker, but it won't be making a billion a year in two years time and the initial costs and development time on phone apps are tiny compared to GTA.
Lifetime revenues on these (select few) phone apps is far greater than what can be expected from GTA. That is his point, although he did say it in a sensationalist manner.

There is a converter linked in the article (I don't know Arizona's time zone).
The converter I used said it was 2:30pm, I used a different one (the one linked in the article) just now that said 2:30am (now I am confused).
Just goes to show you should always question these things.

PlayStation used to account for over a third of all Sony profits (at a time when Sony was very profitable). I think they want a return to that level of success.
No advertising(on own website), no promotion, no support. Also a lot of suggestions made by the publisher/license holder could well be valid and improve the game.
Sony 'lends' devkits to small companies at no cost FACT. They only approve games that have a real chance of success.
I agree it is easier on PC, but not quite as black and white as you paint it. Also he is only speaking of his experiences and opinions.

The VAST majority of Xbox fan's comments are "if this had happen to the xb1, you'd never hear the end of it". About 20x now. Also I prefer the term 'boneheads' to 'Xboners'.
