I love the pic, but I thought Microsoft didn't like the name Xbone? Is that a subtle jab?
Love this stuff, it gets shown a lot on satirical comedy shows over here.
" It's far above 720p output and only slightly below 1080p."
Lol, it is EXACTLY half way between the two!
720+180=900
900+180=1080
Rose tinted spectacles?
Edit: Sorry JimmyLmao, I jumped on that without reading your reply.
About as pathetic as you from the sound of that comment.
Its not just the things pointed out in the article. There's a lot more 'touching up' going on. Look at the skin-tone on the arms, the shadows under the helmet are reduced (to show more clarity), various coloured patches are minimised and altered.
Not saying it means much (if anything), but there is a lot of Photoshoping in that picture.
You're debating grown up issues with children. Dumb, ignorant, hateful little children at that (some are children trapped in adults bodies, so you'd think they'd understand).
I agree with you and all you said. Bubble+.
Kinda weird having so many ignorant, bigoted children on n4g. Kinda sucks that people who have a relatively easy life can just trash-talk someone who must struggle on a daily basis because of an accident at birth.
I'm embarrassed to be a part of this 'community' after some of the ignorance displayed in these comments. Grow Up!
Oh I see, it must mean 'GAME' as they're the biggest chain in the UK!
Compare the Gaming divisions of each company. The net worth has too many variables. Every piece of software sold is virtually all profit to Microsoft, whereas Sony produces items that cost a lot of money to produce.
Microsoft just throw a few bananas to their monkeys and 'hey presto' a new Windows is sh@t out!
Don't you mean 'Game'? I've never seen a 'GameStop' here in England.
FIFA being free will sway some over (Even though PS4 + FIFA is cheaper). A lot of people only buy consoles because of FIFA here. They don't even bother with other games.
I have a large group of friends in London like that. They are all wealthy professionals.
They mostly played on 360's last gen, so may stay with Xbox (if one buys, they all follow suit). There are thousands of players in their social circle that all buy the same to play together.
The replay value sounds great. I can imagine two gamers both thinking the game is very linear, then whilst discussing this fact, both realising that they had two very different experiences.
Journalism is not my chosen field. If I were a journalist I wouldn't publish something full of mistakes like that. Your corrections are incorrect also.
Do you know what a journalist does? He communicates using words. Words are his tools. Do you trust a tradesman who can't use the tools of his trade?
I am one of the n4g users I referred to in my previous text you fool.
Although I have been saying this for a while, I never trust a 'journalist' who is so bad at spelling and lacks basic grammatical skills. What differentiates this person from anybody on n4g? He's incompetent at his job/hobby, so why believe he knows anything about any other industry?
801 eyeballs? Is that 400 people with 2 eyes and a pirate?
BC support was to allow early adopters to still play PS2 games. By the time they removed it there was enough of a back-catalogue of PS3 games to keep people happy. If you wanted the feature, you had to pay for it and not be a cheapskate!
USB's were cut because it saved money without compromising the core functionality of the console.
They were loosing hundreds of dollars per console, if they had kept the console at the same tech level, they still wouldn't have...
Icicle is right. DRM is "Digital Rights Management". It is what stops you copying CD/DVD/Blu-ray content. If there was no DRM in the PlayStation, you could just copy and burn as many game disks as you liked.
It is designed to protect copyrights, and there are several forms of DRM in ALL consoles.
The controversy with Microsofts Xbox 1 DRM was the specific uses that they tried to control. They created a new form of DRM that went beyond its primary purpose, in order to...
@Miyamoto
Believe me, if I had any hair on my head, I would have pulled it out by now (the beard is just too painful).
But thanks for confirming that I'm not the only one who sees videogames as something other than 'toys'.
You're pretty brave for saying what you said, the backlash is imminent! ;-)
@Mii-gamer
It wasn't a personal criticism, it's just everywhere you go on this site you have someone saying "if you like this game and not that game your not a true gamer", or "if you don't get such and such an experience from gaming, your not a true gamer", its quite ridiculous really.
I've been gaming since the late seventies, since before most of the people who write this crap were born, when it was a niche and unpopular pastime,...
They did mention it (read it again and you'll see). They used R*'s recommended setup for the comparison though.
