Psygnosis are one of my all time favourite devs, going back to Amiga days Shadow of the beast etc then on to Studio Liverpool and Wipeout, Colony Wars, G-Police, loved their games, hope they find some of their old magic.

$150 is more of a MEGAtransaction than a microtransaction. That being said as long as nothing is exclusively available through payment only its not really a problem, more of a stupid-tax than anything.
I agree RR4 was a fantastic game, lots of fun and hundreds of hours invested by me.

It would be good to compare the PS4 with a PC consisting of the same component parts (or as close as is physically possible). That way you would see exactly what benefits are garnered from having an optimised closed console system versus a bottlenecked (PCIe bridge etc) PC setup.
I for one would find that very interesting.

June? I pre-ordered in April. Here in the UK, they were taking pre-orders a couple of weeks after the February reveal at Game, so UK gamers have even less of an excuse (they didn't even take a deposit).
If he has all three consoles, why would he choose to play a multiplatform game on the weakest of the bunch? Would you play the inferior version when you have a free choice?
Forza's cars look great, but the backgrounds are truly awful. DriveClubs backgrounds are almost real, that's the biggest difference as I see it (along with much better lighting on DC).
Nobody here is crying about not having it at launch, maybe you posted in the wrong thread? As I said before I have my PS4 already, just considering selling it without opening it. Everyone else is simply talking about stocks in stores and making money from selling consoles they have already.
I may take them up on this offer (still haven't opened my PS4). Not sure if I can afford to keep it at the moment, so many bills and rent to pay.
Steam box is just a re-branded PC, its not so much competition for Sony/Microsoft as it is for Dell/HP etc.
I don't believe it will have much of an impact on genuine console sales at all. Sony are already competing with steam (its not arriving with the Steam Box), so your point is null.
The only new thing Steam Box brings to the table is that funky new controller.
I got mine this morning, but haven't opened the delivery box yet. I'm not sure if I can keep it and still pay my rent (times are hard atm). May have to leave it unopened for a few days whilst I decide whether or not to sell it on for a small profit.
I ordered it in April, so I've been waiting all this time and can't use it, very frustrated.
When my PS3 broke on Christmas day, Sony had a replacement at my door 3 days later (despite being in the middle of the holiday season), I was very impressed.
