I don't remember a significant uproar about this game not coming to PC. For that matter, I don't remember a time that it wasn't.
What also doesn't make much sense is the fact that it is very rare that a big release like this would add a platform because some gamers asked for it. If they were going for a console only release I'd expect them to just do that, then port it to PC.
I don't know, I just don't buy that they dropped everyt...
No, they are saying that 'when' they show images from the Wii U version that they are shots from the Wii U version and not from any other system.
SMS isn't handling the media for this game, gamers are.
That was for Early Access not Greenlight.
*cough* SteamOS is also free *cough*
Gabe talked about it being a "roadblock" for developers getting their games on Steam.
What they are doing is eliminating everything that stands in they way of Devs self publishing on Steam.
I don't know specifically what they will do, but it won't be like Greenlight.
Steam was also a failed business strategy when it first debuted.
Yeah, really.
And if they use it all developing the game (as intended) then have some sort of catastrophe, what then? Send an already destroyed developer further into debt? We're talking about your $15 and their entire business.
Sorry, I see nothing "fair" about it.
This is a very complicated concept for people to grasp.
No there really shouldn't.
Now you know you are taking a chance, though you probably should have from the start, so now you can avoid it.
Those who get it, shouldn't be "Protected" because of the idiots who just don't get it.
Chalk it up to a learning experience and move right along.
Fine with me. I have several Early Access games and I knew very well that they my not finish the game.
I also didn't purchase the expensive Early Access titles. Too much money. But its okay, I'll just wait until its NOT expensive and buy it then. The power of choice is great, really.
WARNING!!
If you brain can't process the idea of Early Access STAY AWAY FROM IT. It's on YOU, when you buy those games.
Vaporware implies that nobody, outside the developers, has had access to a working build of the game. This is completely false.
That and the "clicking" sounds seem a bit too loud, almost trying too hard. That's not proof but taken with everything it seems this video is trying very hard to convince us this is the PC version.
I'm sorry but why do people act like they are forced to buy early access games?
I really don't get it. They can charge whatever they like and finish when ever they finish. YOU spent the money and YOU knew the risks and for some reason that ain't fair. Well tough, grow up.
If Early Access has done anything its show me just how many morons exist in this world.
Its beyond simple:
1. You are NOT forced to purchase the...
Last thing I heard was that you could have your own custom paint and graphics. Not sure about body mesh though. I have no idea about tuning, but I assume there will be plenty of tuning options.
Most likely it was set to Automatic.
As far as the "sense of speed", it didn't seem completely off to me, but I guess that's subjective.
Its also entirely possible that some visual settings haven't been turned on, this was a test of the AI, not the visuals.
I actually agree, New Vegas wasn't really a numbered sequel so I don't see them handing fallout 4 to Obsidian.
That's not to say I have anything against Obsidian or New Vegas, just that it seems unlikely.
I would love it if Obsidian was developing Fallout 4, but I highly doubt it.
I guess you missed the part about it not being finished right?
A game in "alpha" means its not feature complete yet.
From what I can tell from that video, the damage to the player car is either off or not in the game yet. Someone that has access to the latest build might be able to confirm what the video is showing.
@cyguration
Exactly, I should have mentioned that the community was behind the marketing.
@curtis92
Yet there are ads for every other game plastered all over numerous websites. Were it not for those "look at these incredible screenshots" articles even fewer gamers would be aware of the game.
Don't begrudge them for trying to promote a game with literally no marketing budget.
Even if it was SE's projections were still pretty high.
