Well that didn't work did it. Retake has been both marginalized and blamed for all sorts of horrible things that were done by a few people. Do read IGN or PA? There were bloggers comparing retake to freakin terrorists while at the same time calling them whiners. So, that tactic failed.

Rowling did change Potter based on feedback. It happens ALL THE TIME. How people forgot this I'll never understand. Despite what people think of the "whiners", the endings are bad. Objectively bad on so many levels that an entire group of fans were convinced it was all a dream. I kid you not. To them there was no way BW could screw up that bad.
I could go into all the details as to why the ending was horrible, but it would take way too long and would be filled with spoilers. If you really want to know why the majority of fan hate the endings you find plenty of videos on youtube ...

I mostly agree, but Portal 2 really started showing its age. Not to the point where, like you said, they NEED to, but definitely the point where they should consider it.

Agreed, I can't understand gamers actually arguing against themselves. Reviewers invest little time and in many cases no money into a game, yet the fans that do invest time and money should be ignored. But not just ignored, spit on and ridiculed because they called out BioWare on the badly written, lazy, half-assed ending to ME3.
I also can't understand "whining" about "whiners". You would think the people who are so sick of the "whining"...
