Rubin needs to watch what he says, especially since its his first week. Hinting that certain franchises might get cut is all well and good as long you got something to back it up.
I don't think any one game needs to tone down its violence and/or gore. However, gaming is getting a bit over-saturated with absurdly violent games all trying to 1-up each other.
Yea because most games totally live up to the hype.
Sure it looks good but I saw nowhere near enough of the game to know whether it will be great or not. The concept is interesting, but so were many, MANY others, and they ended up being crap.
Expect the worst, hope for the best.
How the hell is this even an issue? Who gives a crap who gets killed more in a fictional story? Don't buy it, problem solved.
The "apology" should be for making a big deal over NOTHING. Followed by an apology for making an apology for a non-issue.
So close. Needed to tease a bit then when someone challenges you, hit 'em with the fair and balanced stuff.
As it is, too far too fast. 5/10. Good try though.
As a rule, no modern military FPS can "steal the show" these days.
We Americans aren't all bad, but we have made a shitload of mistakes. We tend to have a huge ego.
We shit on France despite the fact they're help in keeping the Brits committed elsewhere is the only reason America exists. We had brave soldiers and colonists, but it was very few.
We have made a lot of mistakes like Vietnam. Sticking our noses in others business. But I do NOT think Hiroshima and Nagasaki were among our mistakes. They were sad points in...
How many times has the scene in question been done before? If you are this emotionally sensitive you stick to Barney and friends.
I'm starting to think all this "outrage" is made up. With the Hitman trailer and now this I'm starting to sense some weird PR stunt.
Also, Lara Croft has never been a very good character. TnA is what made her popular. Now people are crying foul for toning down her sexuality and adding depth to the character.
No topics should be off limits, as long as there is a well thought out narrative to back it up. Try to be deep and insightful with abys...
He should start showing what he wants to bring to the table instead of trying to take shit off.
EA is making money on the BW points people buy for the unlockables.
Frankly, without free map packs people will lose interest and it would die.
The tech demo was run on a PC. This isn't even a full game yet.
LA is a console developer now. They've published a couple recent titles for PC, but in-house stuff is for consoles. I highly doubt the finished product will be released on PC.
LucasArts only exists because of Star Wars. Without that license they would have died years ago. They are by far one of the worst developers/publishers ever. Not only have they managed to release horrible Star Wars...
Well that just killed the tiny glimmer of interest I had in this game.
Showing off an engine and actually applying that to a game that is released to millions (PC and Console) are 2 different things.
That said, I thought the list applied to games currently released.
Mods will take care of that pretty quickly, at least on the PC.
Yea, this is totally wrong. Opinions can vary, sure, but there is no denying The Witcher 2 is, at the very least, in the top 5 best looking games on PC currently.
That was exactly the wrong thing to say about one of your franchises. I'm betting an apology will be out by Monday.
The Witcher 2
That's true, but only the short stories and the first novel in the series are translated. Times of Contempt is due out soon, but it took much longer than expected.
CDPR has yet to disappoint me. They've been loyal to their fans and its only right we show our appreciation for that.
