We understand that the ending doesn't make any sense. In fact it only gets more ridiculous the more you study the ME universe.

Because a character driven story like ME should end by not telling what happen to any of the characters around you. Its totally shocking that anyone would have an issue with that.

We know we aren't owed anything, just like Bioware isn't owed anymore money for DLC.

I love how all these writers suddenly act is if its some great tragedy that fans want Bioware to do what they said and resolve the story. Instead of pasting together a random series videos(...

Regardless whether you like the premise of the ending is irrelevant because the ending makes no sense at all. Also, its not about wanting a happy or sad ending, it about all the choices you made in the previous games having an impact on the final outcome. They didn't.

They were supposed to bring closure to ME and all we got was confusion. Bioware created a wonderful universe with a great cast of characters and after all that we don't even get an explanation for what ...

Its a great game with a terrible ending.

GTA4 was a great game, but I had more fun playing SR. I don't think GTA5 needs to copy SR in anyway, but I do think it could lighten up a bit.

Whether one thinks Rage was great or not doesn't change the fact that it fell below expectations. I think Rage's success or failure was tied to Doom 4 in some way.

Problem is the Doom series existed in a time where the FPS genre was just starting to get popular on consoles. Since then their popularity has skyrocketed as well as the number of titles. Doom is going to have a hard time distinguishing itself beyond its name. Had Rage been a phenomenal success I'm sure...

Bethesda went the Blizzard route and refused to release the game until it was perfect, Skyrim would've had a Q2 2043 release. The fun-factor of Skyrim makes bugs and glitches less serious IMO.

Interesting, Why no hype? If it really were releasing this year, you might think an official announcement would have been made last year. Whether or not it exists is one thing, whether its going to be any good is another thing entirely.

Well there are always people who aren't going to like something.

I think there are going to be multiple endings similar to ME2. While the end result in ME2 was win or lose, there were several variations.

Title is an obvious lure for something that really isn't news at all.

Even if Ron Paul could win, it doesn't mean he could actually do what he says he gonna do. Because once he gets elected the big "reality" stick hits him in the face. That and Congress would support nothing he puts forward so eventually his Presidency becomes a huge waste of time.

At the end of the day, there is too much money in video games for them to try to regulate it, so there is no worries.

Whether some people liked Rage or not is irrelevant, fact is it was failure. More than that it showed that Id wasn't perfect. Doom 4 will have an edge with branding, but it will have to back that up.

Doom 4 CAN fail. And if it fails, it will be horrible for Id. They have a lot of competition now and as Rage has shown, Id can get left behind.

Valve never claimed Steam to be "the" answer to piracy, but one of many tools that actually have "real" effects on it. Ubicrap can waste all the money they want to on different forms of DRM, but it will do nothing. The DRM Ubicrap uses is far better at stopping paying customers than those who pirated the game. Yet, for some reason, they still waste money on it and when the inevitable happens they blame PC gamers, not the DRM which fails every time.

I have ...

Kinda weird that an EA employee(on their own time)decides to create and alternative to their own company's product.

Question is...why?

EDIT: could be a way to see what features people want.

I love both games, but Batman is the furthest thing from an RPG as one can get. RPG's have character customization but that's only part of it. In Batman:AC you are governed by Bruce Wayne's ethics and personal history. In Skyrim, you are Dovakiin. He or she is whatever you make of him or her. Skyrim is more of an RPG than most. Many games may have RPG elements, like Batman AC, but to say that it even comes close to "RPG-ness" of Skyrim is absurd. Both are great, yet comp...

Meh. maybe Uncharted, but even then Im not sure I would care much. Before playing GoW, I would have a agreed. But Gears was overrated, fun...sure, but overrated. With mods and various indie titles, Im inclined to let the consoles have their exclusives.

They can keep Alan Wake to for all I care as well.

Its safe to assume that from the time the concept art was released they stopped production and changed gears. I think they found the episodic way of making Half-Life was too much work for very little gain. Whether it was other projects they wanted to do or something bigger for Half-Life I'm not sure.

Truth be told, Half-Life 3 needs to be a major step forward. With Portal 2 you can see Source is starting to show it age a bit. If HL3 looked like Portal 2 and had the same l...

Game previews are only good when you read between the lines. But mostly they fall in to the same category that, asking the PR reps at E3 why their game is the best, does. A complete waste of time.

Although I did read a recent Hitman preview that was a bit more honest than I thought capable.

I think this works both way. Either Valve will say something or they won't. Saying nothing at all could be quite telling in itself.

Whatever happens, if you are on Steam you should join the group. Can't hurt and the goal is more than reasonable.
