How do those games prove it's "next gen" exactly? Being next gen simply means it's part of the generation after the current one. That is the one and only requirement and it only exists because we would get bogged down by needless text / explanations.
A lot of games start development before launch, but that doesn't make them a launch title. Releasing the same day makes them a launch title and everything within the first like 4 months are launch window titles. After that they're just released.
By the same logic, I would say Rayman Legends looks a lot better than The Wonderful 101 and that was actually SUPPOSE to be a launch title.
Trolls and the fact that people use the agree or disagree system as a like or dislike system.
You can state flat out facts and still get 40+ disagrees in the right topic.
Most likely won't happen due to licenses and how some of these series have absolutely no recognition in the US at all. However, Sony is region free... so feel free to import it.
" This site is not a wares site where it supports hackers. "
Great mentality! So people get angry that Game Journalists don't actually look into things, do anything to break a story and just rehash content from press releases. When people start using information that was dug up and might actually take some effort to break the story... you want them to keep it hidden because you don't approve of how they got the information.
Like it or not, ...
"Means, at the least it's matching X1. The next sentence says even better than it's graphics capabilities being at(the) least capable of X1, it has more games to be made available. "
Right... and what does A have to do with B? No matter how I slice it, the statement seems to say that right now the PS4 can match the XB1 in graphics, but hey, you can play a couple more games than the XB1.
@ Fox2 and IcicleTrepan
Considering Case 0 and Case West have stayed exclusive and Dead Rising only got a lackluster and butchered port for the Wii... it stands to reason that Dead Rising 3 will stay exclusive. However, these are just words and they will mean absolutely nothing in a year or two. All it will take is a subtitle for them to claim it's something completely different. Not saying it will happen, but I am also not saying I would trust that statement to mean it w...
@ Clearelite
Software_Lover understands this and is basically saying the point is largely moot. I can see both ends of the discussion, but I stand by we need to see it happening before we boycott something. That and we should push for equal games for all, not just your platform. Would get both more support and make you look like less of an ***hole.

Come on! At least let companies have a chance to gimp games or protest the gimped releases on the Wii U. It makes no sense to protest something that we don't even know will happen and makes even less sense when you make it a single issue.
No console should have gimped games. End of discussion.
"then everyone would just buy the cheapest or most powerful console. "
It would probably come down to features and how they differ in experience. Like the Xbox One has the Kinect 2 to offer a unique experience, the Wii U has the gamepad to offer a unique experience and the PS4 has the best specs. While the PS4 has the best specs, that doesn't mean people wouldn't flock to the Wii U if they weren't doing something awesome with the gamepad, just like the K...
I think you're being a little too cynical here. Yes sometimes games get unfair labels, like PS All-Stars being attacked from every angle due to SSB (They're similar, but being similar does not exactly make a clone, nor was SSB the first game to do crossovers), but this doesn't exclusively happen either.
Like I never once heard someone say Modnation Racers / LittleBigPlanet Karting were better than Mario Kart. Not once in my 2 - 3 years on this site have I ever ONC...
Well a lot of people forget that pacher is an analyst. Though he could stand to do some more research at times. Sometimes he doesn't even have the right info, much less a logical prediction.
Ubisoft has so much faith in the Wii U that they needlessly delayed the Wii U version of Rayman Legends...
Actions > Words
Well the PS4 has Killzone, which is just as much a major game as Second Son. Especially since I will probably get more gameplay out of it (no doubt with the free map packs) than Second Son anyway.
@ Hairy
If BlackCanary says no, then you're welcome to it.
I got a beta code for the PSN if you want it.
Doom 1? That would be way too close to tell. Maybe we should compare it to Pong? That might be a fairer battle.
A better question would be...
"Does anyone expect a multiplatform and generation title to match a first party exclusive for a next gen console?"
Needless to say... it would be pathetic if CoD Ghost beat a first party exclusive on a next gen console.
"Definitely not "smart" either. Why ignore half the market?"
I don't think anyone watched this or any trailer like this and thought "Darn! I thought GTA V was a multiplatform title." I mean, most people know and even if they didn't, I would have googled it to make sure. So all this really does is highlight what the individual system can do. It also implies that said console is the better of the two for said game, which is what they're...
I think this is just proof that Sony doesn't want to write the Vita off as a stupid add on. Most people that own a PS3 and have plans to get this game are no doubt going to have an Android or iOS based device. This allows them to have the full experience for free and allows Sony to keep the Vita from being branded a pointless add on. This logic is also the #1 reason why Sony shouldn't bundle the two, since it just further supports this logic.
