I suggest taking a statistics or business class, since you don't even have a logical point.
While people do "buy multiple systems", these duplicates do not make up a sum over 100% like you seem to believe. What happens is that these people are written off in favor of a number (like total sales) and then are divided by the sum of the three consoles put together.
So if 1 guy buys all 3 systems, 1 girl buys all 3 systems,...

They just need to take a risk, which none of them seem willing to do. It's very difficult when you port an older game (Tekken, Mass Effect 3, Darksiders 2) to a new system, but expect these games to sell like hot cakes.

I think people aren't agreeing with the Vita being too expensive per se, just that the memory cards aren't much cheaper. A lot of people / sites will still note how a Vita costs $200 + $80 (no one ever buys the cheaper memory card in these examples) and $280 is just too much.

It's not a bad things, just that some people would rather see more Vita exclusives / sequels. I can't say I blame them, since I got my fill on the PS3, but still a solid choice.
Too many people look at the space and assume you want more, but space is not an issue... yet. Nintendo has to not only nail digital rights to a point where it can match XBL / PSN (as in I have an account and the account has my games.
