Well the game is story driven, which is a 180 from the first two games. From what I've seen I can't say the story is worth caring about, but it's certainly better than the other two and lightyears ahead of E.X. Troopers.
This game is certainly not better than Lost Planet 2. It doesn't feel anything like Lost Planet, which is the biggest problem.
Because she scored over $100,000 off Kickstarter to do these "little news stories".
Now that is where you're completely wrong.
If you want to discredit someone, then you might need to look into a lot of things / look crazy places. If she was obviously wasting the cash / didn't believe in this stuff, then people would have posted it by now. It's certainly interesting and I think most people would agree that she hasn't thus far really proven why she needed money, much less what she was going to do with over 100,000 dollars.

I loved two and tried 3... basically it has NOTHING to do with Lost Planet besides the enemies look and are called Akrid. Even trivial things like VS's (Vital Suits) seem to be called Rigs now.
It's pretty much a generic TPS game that has a somewhat well known branding attached.
Exactly what I came to say.
No one does it to predict the future... they just do it for views and use trivial facts to prove their points.
Reality: Wii U has a small install base, The Wonderful 101 didn't have a lot of marketing, Only 30,000 copies were said to ship in Japan = Low sales, but understandably low.
Hate posts: No one wants a Wii U, The Wonderful 101 didn't impress Japanese gamers, a pathetic 10,000 or so copies sold = Wii U is doomed.
"Nintendo's biggest problem atm (other than games) is the lack of product awareness. "
I think their biggest problem is the PS4 / Xbox One. Way too many people are focused on that for Nintendo to make big waves. Even with Smash Bros information coming out, we're still seeing less hype than All-Stars had. Maybe after the other next gen consoles release they can focus on doing better, but right now they're just getting destroyed due to them.
"Wii's dynamic was different and allowed it be incredibly popular because it reached a new audience with an interesting gimmick; Wii U, without that dynamic"
The Wii U has both, but it doesn't seem to be as popular. This is surprising, since you can see how much people praise / love the remote play on the Vita. Sure that functionality has a lot more freedom, but a good number of people mentioned simply wanting to game while the TV was on another channel. The...
Lost Planet has a terrible story and some generic elements, but the series also has a lot of unique / awesome ideas. While people seem to generally hate 2, I still loved it for all the hidden stuff you could do.
2 had support weapons that turned into super weapons (they had different attacks based off your guns), mechs that turned into motorcycles / transparent / ships / two of them could combine together / etc, lots of teamwork based objectives and much more. Even the spin ...
Probably Monster Hunter. They remain fairly consistent.
There is a huge difference between copying CoD (which is completely irrelevant) and making a game that would appeal to a more board audience. PG has a horrible history of doing the latter, so I could certainly understand their logic. Especially with Nintendo which has a long history of making games that people generally like.
I liked 2 and E.X. Troopers was fun / very unique... Though I had absolutely no faith in this developer.
Most people don't have a Wii U.
A lot of sites don't have ANY CHOICE in what review copies they get. So even if they wanted to review the Wii U one and they sent a PS3 one, then they have to deal with it.
"Though, didn't the wonderful 101 only ship like 30,000 copies? I was sure that was said before. "
It was. I stated in that topic that it was going to be blasted for poor sales. What a shock I was right.
"Bayonetta 2 is going to be million seller worldwide guaranteed. Its one of the few games that people actually want that have been announced for the Wii U."
Nothing is guaranteed and the Wii U needs a lot more buyers ...
Anyone else hate when companies reveal "how long" said game is?
Like Dragon's Crown was said to have 20 hours of gameplay per character, where as the campaign can be done in 3 - 6 hours and beating it on all 3 difficulties / every quest / maybe even hitting 99, might take you 20 or so hours to do.
Historically speaking, it makes a lot of sense.
Most first party special edition consoles were of Pokmon, Mario, and Zelda, so Zelda continues the trend. Giving Luigi a console would be super awesome, but it seems odd to hype up a DLC (New Super Luigi U) pack THAT much support. Pikmin 3 would have also been nice, but a later release date would have made more sense and I doubt anyone wanted to wait anymore for that game. Both the new DK and Mario games seem to be coming out t...
@ Minato-Namikaze
Actually, it's 4.
@ Minato-Namikaze
It use to work fairly similar on the PSN, but Sony lowered it from 5 to 2. You can still do it with up to 4 people, so it doesn't seem like it was that problematic or else they would have removed / done more sooner.
Why?
Having played roughly half of Lost Planet 3 and obtaining the platinum for E.X. Troopers and Lost Planet 2... it honestly feels like they made the game based off cliff-notes. They could have done a better job of adapting the ideas of Lost Planet 1 / 2 / EX and applying them to their own game. Like you get 1 "Rig" for the LP3 campaign, which works completely different from any VS I've seen in 2 / EX. In addition to being different, it also bares no resemblan...
