All consoles have hacks / mods (well not the Vita, but it will probably at some point), so your point is moot.

@ Bishop-br

Not at all. Game Dev Tycoon was at least witty and was done really well. This is not someone causing a bunch of people a problem / hassle.

"Supports up to 32 speakers. Okay who has 32 speakers in their house? I am being serious "

Who doesn't have 32 speakers?!

Anyway. A lot of these features are pointless to most people, but they still give you the option down the road or allow you more freedom than before. Like my boss has 9 speakers in his celling (they go to the Kitchen and are designed so you can stand anywhere and hear things perfecting), 2 large speakers next to the TV and a...

Pikmin 3 was definitely worth the wait.

Lollipop Chainsaw and Kane & Lynch 2 are less than an hour and a half long?

You can always just wait for a GOTY edition and sell your vanilla copy and get it for about 40.

"You kinda question their motives after that."

You didn't question her motives when she asked for money to do these videos in the first place? Thus far it looks like she spent maybe 1,000 dollars total and that is assuming she bought a new camera to do them in the first place...

The thing is... Anita does a lot of things that are clear she doesn't really believe in what she is doing or believes an opposing opinion matters.

- She has still yet to prove to me (not that she has to since I didn't and wouldn't donate a cent to her) why she needed a kickstarter. Much less what she ended up doing with the money she obtained.
- The first and probably all later videos had the comment section blocked. I can understand not wanting to deal w...

For her work to be important, she has to be doing something worthwhile, which she simply isn't.

First things first, she is not getting anyone to ask any question or look back on anything at all. If she wants to explain how Mario is wrong for using the DiD trope, then I would like for her to explain why her interpretation is meaningful. Like I view Mario's DiD trope as mere lazy writing. It's nothing more than a basic and simple reason to get you to go through the...

I'm surprised Bayonetta wasn't on the list. The game is roughly as long as Rising. Same with Ico, Muramasa and God of War too...

"I, for one, am excited about the possibilities."

Before you get ahead of yourself... I strongly suggest you look at the track record of some of these games.

FF XIV incorrectly gauged interest and had server problems.
Diablo III had server problems at launch.
DC Universe had server problems at launch.
SimCity had server problems at launch resulting in few people being able to play even the single player part.
etc. <...

You're comparing something like 70,000 people that probably fall in The Wonderful 101's demographic to all of Japan and acting like the sales figures are impressive. I'm sorry, but this figure is not indicative of anything, besides up to 404 Wii U owners bought a copy of The Wonderful 101 at Pax.

4693d ago 2 agree3 disagreeView comment

It's not a sign of anything at all.

Pax and really all gaming conventions are exactly the same demographic that would be interested in a game like The Wonderful 101, so it makes sense that it sold out. We're also talking about a total of 404 copies of the game, which is hardly a large sum, nor enough to indicate how popular it may or may not be. Pax Prime 2012 (latest I can find) had over 70,000 people, so it's not hard to believe they had over 400 people interest...

It's basically a game where you play as toy versions of pokemon and defeat other ones. Every toy has 2 attacks and are generally based off what they're known for from the original game. Every now and then a drop will drop, which you can capture.

Please. Pokemon Rumble U had about as much impact on people buying Rayman Legends as Lost Planet 3 (maybe Killer is Dead too. Those games don't tend to sell well). Also the upcoming PS4 / BF 4 / GTA V / etc are probably what is to blame. Most people only have a budget of so much and rather not squander cash on titles they don't care about or expect to drop.
