It would make more sense / be better if after X so many hits body becomes ready with the statement and has unflinching for a couple of seconds. Would add some depth, make logical sense with the comment and have some interesting uses.

"1) The philosophy of "Sex sells" should not be as acceptable as it is. "

If this was the topic at hand, then I would agree. However, this typically only looks at the female aspect, which makes it purely 1 sided and the basic goal is moot.

You can always import one and this isn't exactly uncommon / unheard of.

Also going off what Maddens Raiders said, you also have Torne as an example of this too. Like in the US we have Tivo, Uverse, Comcast, Dish, and Direct TV all offering DVR's (probably more), so how many people would actually buy a Torne to record video?

I have no clue what you're thinking her / Corrupted Cartridge for, since this is merely a fake controversy.

Very few people are actually offended and the few that are merely want attention or views. Same reason why Dragon's Crown got blasted for the same thing. It's sad, but thanks to the controversy surrounding Anita and the other feminists, we're starting and will continue to see more people calling into question characters like this.

Well developers CAN control what is and isn't sharable, so it makes sense to a small degree. Why block anything if anyone with a HDPVR can share it anyway? However, it makes no sense to embrace this tech only to push the most dedicated users away.

@ SuburbanHell

1) YouTube is a HUGE and COMMON site. It would make no sense to restrict people from using one of the most common (and probably easiest to get set up) sites as part of their offerings. Furthermore, a Nintendo "your work is our money" approach (if they wanted to block it) makes infinitely more sense. Why implement a feature, block people form using a common site, when you can let them have both and simply profit from you.

2) So? No on...

@ Hduce

1) Never said you couldn't draw like that. Just said it relies heavily on "touch" inputs.
2) The point wasn't that you had to use the gamepad, but that those controls aren't as precise and in turn cause frustration. Like I rather use the touchpad to draw than a thumbstick, though I much rather just push a button and simply change forms.
3) Thats cool? Others didn't. Welcome to the wonderful world of opinions.

GTA V will sell well, but it will not be the top spot. While people like to quote how well GTA IV sold as some sort of reasoning behind this... don't forget that things like CoD are yearly titles that don't have much shelf life after the next one comes out. Where as GTA has a lot more shelf life and has a lot more time to rack up sales.

Going off what I played in the demo... it replies heavily upon gamepad / touch inputs, which can tend to be hit and miss in certain games. Like if I draw the gun and it gives me the sword, then it can be frustrating. Just read all the comments about people who hated the Murfy levels in Rayman Legends.

Well if I understand the PS Vita TV correctly, then it lacks the ability to use touch components. This results in some games being completely unplayable (like Gravity Daze) and keeps the Vita from being completely useless. This also brings into question how some games with minor touch elements (like SS is supported, but uses touch to make enemies weaker or you more powerful when you're dead.) will be implemented. This could perhaps work via thumbstick, though it's hard to say if the P...

While I guess this is one way of looking at it, but another and probably more accurate way would be to say Capcom is out of touch with what consumers want.

DMC was extremely popular (even had an anime in Japan) till they gave the game to Ninja Theory. Now NT has a long history of making unpopular / poorly received games (like it or not, it's the truth) and this continued on into DmC. Naturally the sales were low, though they did get some decent review scores from some p...

They can't sue, since they would have to prove they own Inafune's style and that he is not allowed to work on something he knows.

"So how can you possibly know how game projects are budgeted?"

You don't need to know the budget of something to know if it was properly budgeted or not.

Like take God of War Ascension. Did it need the nice live action trailer? Did it need an ad during the online superbowl stream? Did it need an online comic to detail things and offer "unique" DLC? Nope. Didn't need any of these things and despite them costing a fair bit of money....

They can, but they won't.

Their sales are already in the crapper and the overall impression of the console is that some things are being rushed to bring the battle to Sony (For those thinking this is a fanboy comment.. just look at things like how they revealed the release date. Sony did the release date during their conference at Gamescom, where as I just checked my email one day and saw the Xbox one had been dated). M$ isn't dumb enough to lost what momentum they c...

To be fair, Declassified had brand recognition, a second CoD game included (with retail versions anyway), was the better of two FPS options on the Vita and was on sale often / several times after release (not to mentioned bundled with a system). Sure some games still sell well, but the vast majority do poorly if review scores are low.

Digital. Legends has daily and weekly challenges, so it's the type of game you'll probably want to open briefly every day and going digital will save you a hassle. Same logic people apply to Animal Crossing.

I honestly believe they were never intended to be added, but Ubisoft decided to due to all the bad press surrounding the move. Remember, this game was announced to have 90 levels and Ubisoft never took a second to explain wher...

@ 3-4-5

Possible, but that would happen regardless. Also this isn't a terribly uncommon practice either. Most of my Amazon packages ship on Monday before the game releases, so I don't see the big deal regardless.

@ Psychotica

Believe it or not... a lot of stores get these games in a bit ahead of time. My local Target had Killzone Mercs on display and that isn't set to release till next week in the US. A lot of times bigger games ...
