They're similar, but thats about it. Quite similar to how the Kerberos soldiers and Helghast could be interchanged without a hassle. However, the Kerberos comparison is a lot more similar than anything being claimed here...
In my honest opinion... I think this is just someone (or someones) getting worked up that they see a similarity between two things. Not like a robot in WW1 is something completely unheard of, nor is it really unique enough to claim ownership of.
Yusuke was a lock. He was in the previous Jump cross over games too. Despite not being the largest Jump series around, it was still among the most popular series in the magazine history. Wouldn't be any different if Kenshiro didn't make the cut.
You should be ashamed and feel bad.
The only real issues with this game are marketing (there is little to none) and how fractured it is. Between the Wii U and Vita version having unique content, 4 exclusive Wii U costumes, 2 exclusive Vita costumes and 1 DLC costume on both PS3 and 360... they really should have either given the Wii U the best version (since it was originally meant for the Wii U and only stuff that requires the tablet controller) and make all the other versions the same.
@ Live2Play
Right, so having a cap of 30,000 (not counting DD) on your first week sales makes the item sound REALLY in demand.
Everything is situational and the last thing the Wii U needs is smaller shipments (implying a lack of faith) and low first week sales.
@ Fsfsxii
I'm sorry. They totally cancel DLC and change developers when games are super successful and are making a tons of profit.
Seems plausible.
Some very small time YouTuber gets ahold of a rep that reveals something that no one else knew. We know this happens every day and it's not like Sony wouldn't totally announce reobtaining the rights and doing something with it.
"I believe gravity rush didn't get the attention it deserved "
Being free to any and every Plus subscriber for a calendar year is not enough attention?
"At least they Are being smart about it."
How is that smart? Business 101 is pretty much to make more than you could possibly sell, since it's better to have leftovers than missing out on sales. It's a very common practice in food services and it would make a lot of sense here.
Also this does is show that Nintendo has VERY little faith (despite the Nintendo Directs about it) in the title and ultimately brings into question how much faith th...
What is Shuhei Yoshida going to say "We're sorry that it was a total and complete failure." ?
It wasn't profitable, which makes it a failure.
Depends how they go about it really. They could add X time of XBLG and the game would be free for anyone with an internet connection.
Really anything is better than how the 3G Vita handled the free month and game. For those of you that didn't buy one / hear about it, you had to buy a month of ATT's poor service for $15 dollars to get the game.
I am sure many people are gong to disagree with me, but M$ needs to stick to their guns and hope for the best. I am getting tired of every week being a new thing that makes the XB1 more desirable. Between the policies being reversed (great choice, but it would have been best to leave it as an opt in or out situation), headset being added, a sticker (almost got me to buy one!), double A batteries (this is when they sold me.), Kinect being optional and now a game... it just seems like they'...
"Why are so many gamers like this? A great game comes out, but then it gets so successful that some people just feel the need to bring it down. "
Part of the reason is that people want to write things that are interesting. If I posted a 10,000 word explanation of why NeverDead was the worst game of the generation... do you think I would get many views? Do you think anyone would need an article that long to make that statement? I could probably post on N4G that Never...
@ RedHawkX
And? They simply scrapped the 3D stuff for sprites. Nothing new / surprising / special here, especially since it was a SNES title in the first place.
"they should of kept everything in that 60 percent complete and just tweeked the graphics to look better."
Terrible idea. For starters, the 60% comes from what Miyamoto feels and this isn't exactly a sum you can quantify. Like any number of problems / delays could cause...
" Because it shows the bad reviewers from the good."
How exactly does that work out? Perhaps this review is not fair, but reviews are also opinions and nothing more. Also, it's hard to say what exactly WAS reviewed between reviewers.
Ever since I stopped writing for the site I wrote for, I've been trying to remind people that several reviews are written off a small fraction that doesn't represent the whole game. This is one of the reaso...
Going off the demo I can see this game scoring 7's (due to the reliance / overuse of the touchpad / dual screens), but I would be hard pressed to believe that this game is as bad as Burning Skies, Declassified or Aliens CM.
@ BattleAxe
"But did it make sense for Nintendo to make the 3DS XL?"
I take it you don't own either device. Correct?
The 3DS XL and Vita are about equally thick, but the 3DS XL only comes to the PlayStation button (if you go from the other end to that end), which means even NOW the Vita is larger than the XL.
So if you're asking if it makes sense that a device was made larger, but still smaller than the Vita...
@ 1nsomniac
Payday 2 is an extra 20, not 5 and we're talking a 50% increase from the base price for that.
Anyway, most CE"s are 80 - 100, which isn't terribly good, but isn't terribly bad. I think the craze started because in the past finding a game collectible was fairly uncommon and was part of the awesomeness of Club Nintendo. That concept is sort of gone, but some of the CE items can be pretty awesome. I won't debate some of the thin...

"It's like seriously? Aren't your publications so huge with dedicated fans and readers that you don't need to publish this drivel. Publish when you're ready instead of trying to be first. It's SO annoying. /endrant"
Blame sites like N4G for this happening in the GJ field. There is a strict "first come, first serve" policy, which results in the first publication to break the story and post it here, gets the credi...
The problem is that everything is conjecture at best.
You google WW1 fighter plane? You see planes like in that video / picture.
You have a war? Then you're bound to have trenches (these are hardly unique to even the CoD series)
You google WW1 tanks? You see tanks like in the picture / video.
As you mentioned the robots resemble other robots from the past and it's not like we're talking about unique designs here (like a Gundam for instanc...
