I think they're in for a great holiday season with all the sweet exclusives and the price drop. Don't know if they'll hit 10 million, but I'd bet they sell about a million in December.

The demo at the Microsoft press conference was kinda weak.
Man this game looks freaking awesome.
It wasn't just the glitches that made the demo such a disappointment - it was the game play. It was just meh. There just wasn't anything impressive about it - animation, lighting, physics, AI etc etc. I'm not surprised that Sony did want the exclusive now - they probably didn't want to co-market such a weak game when they have so many strong ones coming out around the same time. I just don't get why Microsoft thought it was a good idea to show a really rough build of a multi-plat game at thei...

GH3 is looking better - the released tracklist is pretty great. My only problem with GH2 was that they tracklist had too many weak songs - the gameplay was totally better (hammer ons and pull-offs actually worked properly).
The real challenge here is for them to get the gameplay as tight as Harmonix did, without Harmonix. Get that right and let me use Rock Band guitars and, EA, you have yourselves a sale.

I'm glad to see some folks agree with you. No wonder that game got delayed - that demo made me go from wanting the game to definitely waiting for the reviews. The climbing engine was about the only interesting thing and it's pretty much just an upgrade of PoP.

The Halo footage definitely looked better than the beta, but still not mind-blowing by any stretch. I think Bungie's taking this one seriously - they know they let people down with Halo 2 and they can't afford to do that again - though it will sell like a billion copies either way...
I kept waiting for the big announcement... and it never came. The only news was Disney Movies and a green Xbox, ( I know there was other stuff, but I'm talking about things we didn't know) snore.
