I think if you spent as much time playing Oblivion on the 360 as I have you'd have no doubt that an HDD is a huge help for this kind of game. The boundary loading and pop-ins in the 360 version of Oblivion were simply unacceptable if you ask me. Great game for sure, but it runs so much better on PC or PS3 where you have an HDD standard.
This is just silly. They delay the game 7 months because of Halo and that's it? Come on. Sure Halo is a big franchise, but I can think of one that's bigger - that's right GTA. If they really just wanted to avoid Halo why miss the whole holiday season? Especially when you're hard up for cash. HDMI is the new standard for HD. If you're going to make a product that outputs not including HDMI, at this point in time, is crazy. I don't know of any new HDTVs that don't have HDMI.
If you don't have a problem with those games I don't see why you should with Warhawk. Obviously NAT 1 or 2 is better than 3, but if it works it works. If you have communication issues you should be able to find some guides online to set up the proper port forwarding.

Sorry, but I have a new Samsung 1080p set and I have to say it's pretty easy to see a difference in quality between VGA or Component vs HDMI. VGA and Component are analog, HDMI is digital. If you can't tell the difference perhaps you should see an optometrist. VGA is going away in a hurry. Have you ever tried using the same LCD monitor with VGA vs DVI? The difference is so easy to see. Man, I don't know what you are smoking.

You'd think Kotaku would understand - Rock Band is Guitar Hero more than Guitar Hero 3 is. Harmonix made Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, and Guitar Hero Encore - now they are making Rock Band. Neversoft is writing GH3 from scratch. Guitar Hero 3 has the same publisher (Activision) and peripheral maker (Red Octane), but none of the developers.

It's a Jabra 125. Reviews seem to say that it's a solid albeit basic Bluetooth headset.
I think the beta was a little less than 900 megs - so I'd guess in the vicinity of a gig max.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the prices for Rockband haven't yet been confirmed EA or Harmonix. Theses are the same speculated prices we've seen on EBgames etc. Maybe they are right and maybe they aren't. Let's wait till we know for certain before we get too worked up.
Now that the $40 price has been announced it's Retail FTW.
I think the proof is in the pudding. I haven't played anything on 360 to date the can touch RFOM's AI - and that's a PS3 launch title so who knows how good it will be in the future.
I'm really looking forward to Bioshock - perhaps it'll be better. But then RFOM 2 will probably best that as well.
