I honestly think that Kojima used the green lettering in the teaser just to make people think of MGS4 on 360. The MGS4 on 360 rumors will never end, even after Kojima says he wishes people would stop asking about MGS4 on 360.

*Sigh* The MGS4 on 360 rumors never end. Just in case anyone has forgotten, here is a refresher:
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
"Pressed on MGS4's exclusivity and the possibility of an Xbox 360 port, Kojima reiterated that the PS3 had been chosen because he believed that the series' success had been entwined with PlayStation's, and admitted that "because MGS4 was optimised for...
There really isn't anything on the 360 that I would want on the PS3 other than Alan Wake and/or Splinter Cell Conviction, but nothing else... really neither of those 2 games are even exclusive because they are both going to come out on the PC, but either way, they are 2 games I would like on the PS3.
I'm pretty sure a lot of 360 owners want Killzone 2 even though they continue to downplay it, but deep down inside, they know they want it. Killzone 2 is one of the most realistic an...
I do agree with the guy that wrote this article when he says that there should be actual game developers giving out awards instead of actors. During the Oscars it's mostly various actors presenting/ giving out awards to other Actors and the VGA's should be the same way.
It would have been way better if more game developers were actually involved in the show itself... instead of that woman introducing World Premires, I would have rather preferred that someone from the game studio ...
I've always wondered why the heck so many people defend the 360 even though it's an unpredictable system hardware wise.... I guess they defend it because of the games, but reliable hardware in combination with good games makes for the perfect system, not good games and unpredictable hardware.
I will never consider buying an Xbox 360 until it's RROD free, until then I'm sticking with my PS3.... besides, most of the games on the 360 come out on the PC anyways (just stating facts) ...
There were times in Heavenly Sword where there was literally hundreds of enemies on screen at once, and after looking at the GOW3 trailer, I'm pretty sure God of War 3 will be no different and have that same huge scale. The same thing goes for Killzone 2's Single Player because during certain situations there's so much stuff going on on screen at once it's just crazy.
I just can't wait to see newer builds of God of War 3 and be blown away even more.
O.k..... who the heck would have thought that God of War 3 would be an MMO? The 2 previous God of War games were single player only, so I would pretty much expect God of War 3 to be the same way. I don't care if there isn't Online because God of War 3 doesn't need it. God of War has always been about the Single Player experience and I would rather have Sony Santa Monica focus on making the Single Player as strong as possible without getting distracted by Multi-player.
Since you d...
I thought I heard some rumor about Media Molecule working on a RPG.... Sony did say that 5 internal RPG's were in development, so it could be true. I think LBP for the PSP would be great, but I wouldn't mind seeing Media Molecule create something else new for PS3 first before going back to LBP.
When the Wii shot him with the gun I just burst out laughing! That was the funniest part to me.
After looking at those pics, all I gotta say is, ONLY ON PS3 :) The detail going into Uncharted 2 is just mindblowing.
It looks like most of the 2009 PS3 exclusives are poised to separate themselves from the competition technologically and graphically.
By looking at the random disagrees, I sense jealous Xbox fans are in the mist.
Anyways, I can't wait for this game next year. I'm sure that God of War 3 will have a Collectors Edition, and if so, I'm buying it without a doubt.
@ Jaysquared,
Do you think I give a damn about sales? NO. All I care about is the game itself.
Metal Gear Solid 3 sold only a little over 3 million units on the PS2 and the PS2 had a huge installbase, but Metal Gear Solid 4 sold over 4 million units in several months on the PS3 alone with a installbase of about 17 million.
You cannot look at the PS3's installbase and just "assume" how well God of War 3 will sell. If God of War 2 sold over 2 mil...
I had a feeling that GTA4 would win just because it's "Grand Theft Auto" and not because of the actual game itself compared to other games that were more Epic than GTA4 like MGS4.
The gameplay in GTA4 was alright although it did get repetitive pretty quick, but to me the graphics were the biggest letdown of all. I know that graphics don't mean everything, but before I got GTA4, I was playing Uncharted Drakes Fortune, and it was a little hard getting used to playing a ga...
Both the God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 teasers were awesome. I thought that they would be longer, but since they were so short, it still was pretty much a "teaser". At GDC or at E3 next year, hopefully there will be full length trailers with more gameplay footage shown for both games.
After seeing God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 gameplay footage before the end of 2008, where the heck is Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction Microsoft? LOL.
I've noticed most o...
God of War 3 looked awesome and I have no doubt that the final build will look even better.
The God of War 3 trailer was shorter than I though it would be... but still, it's awesome to see God of War 3 in action. Ninja Blade better watch out, Kratos is watching... and waiting.
I just want to see what the heck Jaffe saw, and I want a confirmed release date. If there is God of War 3 gameplay shown this early, I think that it's safe to assume that it's probably coming Late 2009 just like the rumors are pointing to.
The PS3 is where it is because of so many dedicated Playstation fans. If it was some other console by another manufacturer that came out at $600 bucks, I really don't think that the console would have even survived as long as the PS3 did. The Playstation brand has been in the industry for over a decade, and obviously over that time period, Sony has fostered a loyal following of Playstation gamers, and that has been the foundation of the PS3.
Sometimes I just don't see how anyone ...
As far as Sony introducing a 160GB PS3 for a higher price, Sony themselves stated that the 160GB PS3 was a limited type thing and they were just using the 160GB PS3 as a test to see how much the demand was for a SKU with larger hard drive space.
Blu-ray sales have been off the charts, so I don't see how Sony is "sabotaging Blu-ray". Yes, Sony has not done a good job of advertising Blu-ray themselves, but I've seen PLENTY of Wal-mart Blu-ray commercials this holiday seas...
I'll be watching it on T.V., but I'll probably be switching back and forth between the VGA's and the New York Gaints v.s. Dallas Cowboys game.
The only thing I really care about is the Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 trailers. After I see em', it's back to the football game.
Famitsu has given pretty good scores to medicore games, and I'm just guessing it'll probably be received pretty well once it comes out in the U.S.
If they said that it's "is basically like every other Level 5 RPG", I really don't see how they can be a bad thing.
