How do the people that wrote this article know that Sony will miss the PS3's sales target if there are STILL 3 months left before the end of Sony's fiscal year in March 2009? I guess the noobs that wrote this article thought that Sony's fiscal year ended December 2008, LOL what a joke.
The sites name fits perfectly with this article: Fudzilla.com, and this article is Fud as well.
APB will more than likely come out on the PS3:
http://www.gamespot.com/new...
"While APB had initially been slated to appear for the Xbox 360 and the PC, a Realtime Worlds spokesperson told GameSpot that the PC edition was the developer's priority and will be the first to market. Noting that Crackdown was the only game to fall under the exclusivity contract the studio signed with Microsoft in 2...
"Most games that are supposed to come out next year on ps3 wont"
What games on the PS3 that are supposed to come out next year won't be released in 2009? God of War 3 and GT5, may not make a 2009 release but that's about it. Even if those 2 games get pushed, the PS3 will still have a steller lineup.
To me so far, almost every 2009 PS3 exclusive looks much more than "decent", so I'm not worried about being stuck with just "2 decent exclusives&...
If they think Blu-ray is a Needless Expense, then I guess HDTV's are a needless expense as well?
HDTV's and Blu-ray go hand in hand.
Digital Distribution/Digital Downloads is the future, but Blu-ray will have it's own time in the market before that even happens. More people still buy more movies via. Disc media than Downloads, and the Physical format isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
On top of that, HD downloads isn't really true HD:
And I've noticed that all these American journalists talk like U.S. sales = The World. I guess they forget that Japan and Europe are just important in a con...
Out of all the games I've played, I think that God of War 2 had the best First Level.... I mean, in the first level you fight a Boss and the entire level consists of you fighting this giant Boss while working your way through the level....Just pure Epicness.
I like it when games like God of War 2 just throw you right into the action from the beginning and I hope God of War 3 is the exact same.
Personally I think that Killzone could easily sell 2-3 million copies without advertising because there are very few PS3 owners that don't know about Killzone 2 and there's very few PS3 owners that aren't anticipating Killzone 2... I mean, people have been talking about Killzone 2 since E3 2005. My theory is that everyone that bought Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 will buy Killzone 2.
Since so many people already know about Killzone 2, the only thing I think Sony needs to do for adver...
I'm glad Sony implemented Blu-ray with the PS3. If the PS3 didn't have Blu-ray, then there wouldn't be anything significantly different between it and the 360.
As the PS3's price gets lower to entry level Blu-ray DVD players ($299), then that's when the Blu-ray format will start pushing the PS3, just like how the DVD drive in the PS2 helped to push it.
Blu-ray isn't sinking the PS3... as a matter of fact the PS3 isn't sinking at all. The only thing holding back the P...
@ candystop,
Yeah, Killzone 2 has nothing to do with Resident Evil 5, but the FACT is that KZ2 looks better than anything on the 360 and it stomps all over RE5.
I could care less about Multiplatform comparisons between the PS3 and 360 because it's obvious the PS3 is capable of more graphically and Killzone 2 proves it. As long as the PS3 version of a multiplatform game looks good, it's all that matters to me.
I hope the PS3 gets a price cut Early 2009, but I'm a little skeptical of it because of the more recent interviews with David Reeves where he literally shot down rumors of a price drop in March 09'.
"No we are not going to go down in price; neither are we going to go down in price on PS3 in spring time either. Absolutely not, whatever you might have heard to the contrary"
"As soon as we got the manufacturing price down on PSOne we lowered the price. Sa...
Yeah, it might be released at a later date, but I'm sure there's a ton of people that want to get their hands on a Killzone 2 demo sooner. An offer like this is going to ensure a TON of pre-orders though, I guarantee it.

This was submitted on N4G just a few days ago.
Edit: A disagree, LOL. I have MGS4 and love it and I'm glad it got GOTY from Gamespot, but this has already been approved on N4G, so it's a duplicate.
After reading a few recent interviews with David Reeves, he totally shoots down rumors of a price cut in March 2009... but who knows, maybe he was just talking about Europe since he's the SCEE president.
In those interviews with David Reeves, I hope that he was just talking about Europe and not as the PS3 as a whole, because if so, then it could mean that a PS3 price cut is a long ways away and I don't think it will happen until the PS3 hits Break-even.
LOL, I guess since Nintendo has been making so much money with the Wii, the woman must have thought the Wii was an ATM machine! It prints money!
White Knight Chronicles hasn't even been out for a full week yet, just for a few days. These sales in Japan are absolutely astounding.
If these numbers don't convince SquareEnix to get their JRPG's out on the PS3 regardless of how much they like easier Xbox 360 development, I don't know what will.
Now I just want to see the PS3's hardware numbers for the week of Dec. 25th. because they should be pretty good.
I think that Final Fantasy XIII on the 360 will be at least 5 DVD discs minimum, but I wouldn't be surprised if it came on 6 discs.
I definantly think that FFXIII will be a 50GB game and I wouldn't be surprised if it surpassed 50 gigs because, it has been optimized for the PS3 ever since development first started, the high quality visuals, and if LittleBigPlanet was 40GB, I'm pretty certain FFXIII will be 50GB minimum.
I doubt that FFXIII on the PS3 is going to be downgraded just because SquareEnix is going to make a 360 version. FFXIII has been in development for years, and it's not like Square is just going to put that all to waste and just downgrade everything they've worked so hard to optimize for the PS3.
At this point, SquareEnix probably doesn't even have their minds on the 360 version because they are only focused on developing the game on one platform first (PS3) and executing it the b...
If Blu-ray prices was something that would cause it's demise in the future, I think it would have already happened or would be near to happening because lately Blu-ray sales have been skyrocketing.
Blu-ray prices will drop as time goes on, and you can always buy Blu-ray's heavily discounted Online from places like Amazon.com, so the excuse for Blu-ray DVD prices is getting old to me.
Blu-ray has made faster progress than DVD made in the same time frame and I don't se...
After the HAZE debacle, I doubt Microsoft would buy Free Radical, but Microsoft definantly needs more first party studios though because that is an area where they are lacking... I mean in just a matter of a year or two, Bungie is no longer under Microsoft and Microsoft will be shutting down Ensemble Studios after Halo Wars.
Free Radical had a pretty good track record, and it's a shame that all this had to happen to them. If Free Radical couldn't get the job done with HAZE, I wou...
You could add Free Wifi capabilities to a 360 for a Home Wireless Network by using this method, but that's about it. You couldn't go to an area that had Free Wifi and pick up a bunch of different signals and connect by just using this method alone.
But still, there isn't any reason why the 360 shouldn't have built in Wifi... I mean, the Wii has it for gods sake.
