Well, I'm glad to see Sony throwing back some fighting words and honsestly, David Reeves spoke the truth when he said that, unlike Microsoft because usually they are just bragging, boasting, or talking down about the competition for no reason. Sony has a little bit more class than Microsoft PR from what I've seen.
Oh yea, @ Elven6 the PS2 disc drive problem was not on a mass scale like the RROD was and unlike Microsoft, Sony didn't release the PS2 already knowing of it's faults....
I think Gerard Butler would be a pretty good choice because his performance in 300 was pretty darn good, and the entire movie reminded me of God of War.
All he would have to do is shave his head (or wear a bald cap) and grow back the same beard that he had in 300, and I think he would be all set.
For a God of War movie, I say bring back as many actors that were in 300 as possible. I also think that Lena Headey (she was in 300 as well) would be a good choice for Krato...
How can this list look better than the PS3's when half the games listed are multiplatform and will be on the PS3 as well? Makes no sense.

I just listed 9 PS3 games for 2009, they are all exclusive, none of them are coming out on the PC, and all of them are shaping up pretty nicely. The PS3 has a damn good lineup whether...
The only store that I've seen selling PSN Cards is Best Buy so far... the funny thing is that when I saw them in Best Buy, they weren't even located in the gaming section.
I haven't tried looking for PSN Cards anywhere else though and they may be at other stores near me that I just don't know of.... I guess I was lucky because my mom let me get a Visa Debit Card when I was like 15 or 16, so I've been able to purchase stuff Online for a LONG time because I'm 20 now.

If Gears 3 will be on the 360, I doubt it will look that much better than Gears of War 2. Epic Games themselves said that they believed that the 360 was "reaching it's limits" and there wasn't a very noticable graphical leap between Gears of War 1 and Gears 2. SpikeTV gave Best Graphics to Metal Gear Solid 4, so to each his own.
If the 360 is reaching it's limits according to Epic and hasn't produced...

It's not flawed.
People buy BMW's as an added luxury and right now for the price that the PS3 is selling at, it's pretty much a luxury item as well for a lot of people.
Eventually the PS3 will start to experience huge growth because there is a huge Playstation installbase around the globe, but it wont come until it's price gets lower.
But still, for the price that the Xbox 360 has been selling at since the PS3 first came out, I think ...
Right now I think that Infamous has a Spring 2009 release (some time around April) and that would be a pretty good time to release it and would give a lot of PS3 owners plenty of time to get Killzone 2 before buying Infamous.
Looking forward to the new Infamous info and of course, Infamous is another day one purchase for me.
I think that it's going to be interesting to see which game is recieved better, Infamous or Prototype....

I can't believe last week they were saying " PS3 sales take a dip in Japan", when sales had only dropped by about 4,000 units.
Those new 80GB PS3 bundles in Japan must have been the trick because ever since. White Knight Chronicles was one of the top 10 anticipated games by Famitsu readers, so I don't think that the 29/40 review score will harm sales that much.
Dead Space, best Survival Horror game this year hands down. Kudos to EA for doing such a good job with Dead Space and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Well, considering that the gameplay in Gears of War 2 is almost identical to Gears of War 1 with most of the gameplay being heavily grounded around the cover system, I think that a lot of people probably felt that they were just playing Gears of War 1 all over again with just a few changes. I'm not hating on Gears 2, just stating my own opinion.
From what I've seen, Horde in Gears 2 looks pretty cool, but everything else to me in Gears 2 just reminds me of Gears of War 1 a LOT. ...

If you aren't convinced to buy KZ2 day one, I don't know why. Killzone 2's gameplay footage speaks for itself. The graphics look amazing and the gameplay looks amazing.
Haters and Doubters be damned, Killzone 2 is MINE day one regardless of reviews and I see no reason why this game wont get good reviews. Killzone 2 looks a whole lot better gameplay wise and of course graphics wise than Resistance 2 in my opinion.

Killzone 2's gameplay will be just as good as the graphics. I've played Killzone 1, so I already know what to expect gameplay wise.
Whenever Guerrilla made Killzone 1, Sony had not acquired them yet and I'm sure that they were a pretty underfunded studio back then. Killzone 1 was Guerrilla's first game and honestly I think that Guerrilla pushed the PS2 a lot more than it could handle.

Left 4 Dead looks pretty generic to me and the fact that it doesn't really have much of a story doesn't really attract me too it. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that L4D is a pretty fun game, but it just doesn't really look that amazing to me. The only reason why I think L4D is considered "great" is because it's developed by Valve.
As far as Halo goes, I'm not a big fan of shooters that use a lot of futuristic guns, so Halo for me would be out of the question. I'd take Ki...

The Playstation 3 costs around $400 dollars to produce man, not $500 or $600 dollars. The PS3's production costs fell by half of the original $800 dollars to produce a LONG time ago.
Sony really isn't loosing that much money on the PS3 right now and they are probably pretty close to break-even if they are selling the cheapest PS3 for $399 when it costs $400 to produce

All I can say is that both games look awesome. I see a few slight improvements with Uncharted 2, but the differences are pretty small. Either way, Uncharted 2 is a day one buy for me just like the first Uncharted was. You can't go wrong with Naughty Dog games, pure quality in each title.

Sorry, but I have no doubts about Killzone 2. If Thierry Nguyen from 1UP said that after playing the early build of Killzone 2's Single Player, he thinks that it would be good enough to get a B, I have no doubt that when the completed version of KZ2 comes out it's going to get received really well overrall.

I was looking forward to the game, but damn, I didn't expect IGN to react the way they did to Infamous. Sucker Punch has a good track record and I never doubted them.
I really hope that the city in the game is pretty huge as well.
I don't think that Infamous will have any multiplayer, but even if it doesn't, it's still a first day purchase for me. This game is a perfect follow up to Killzone 2.
