I have to agree somewhat. Microsoft almost always hypes up it's big game titles to death that it's just almost funny. And that article was right because GTA4 didn't even need the hype to sell, it would have just taken longer to sell.
However, there isn't really that much that Bungie could have done in Halo 3 because it's just a shooter, however, the upcoming PS3 shooters like Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 make Halo 3's graphics look like last-gen.

I really don't care about the Prince of Persia series... I played the demo of it on the PS2, but I just got hooked on Jak and Daxter.
It would be great for the Wii to finally get more hardcore games on the system and if Ubisoft could get the game over to the Wii, they would probably make millions off of it, but Ubisoft will have to downscale the game tremendously just for the Wii if they ever decide to port it.

I have the 60GB PS3 and my Online connection is always enabled when I start up GTA4 and I don't have any freezing issues or anything when starting up saved games.
And it's not like the Xbox 360 isn't having some of the same issues either.
I like E3 because of all of the announced upcoming game titles and such for developers.
I really don't consider Activision to be an important game development company, but I do know that Activision has been around for a while, but in terms of games, I'm not a fan of any Activision games and could care less about the company.
As long as Guerrilla Games, Naughty Dog, and Insomniac are at E3, I'm happy.
I heard something about Toys "R" US supposedly having a big shipment of Wii's coming in on a Podcast, but I guess it was just a hoax to get people to pre-order there Wii at Gamestop or just to get people to come to the store.
What else can I say, MGS4 looks so clear and crisp in those screenshots. I'm sure that MGS4 will push the PS3's potential even more further as well.

You say "some textures could use some work", well if you ask me, the whole Grand Theft Auto 4 game needs a total make over, and every texture in the game needs some work.
Plus, the screenshots that are shown over the computer don't look as good as the real game running on PS3 hardware displayed on a HDTV. The screenshots can definanlty give you an idea for what the game will look like, but the final product running on actual hardware looks better.

If Square is coming to E3 without FFXIII, they might as well not come at all. But if FFXIII isn't going to be at E3, Square will probably announce new projects... maybe Kingdom Hearts 3... but I'm pretty sure that Final Fantasy will be at E3.
Wow. I can't wait to see some of the actual game footage. Resistance 2 has already been confirmed to be a 50GB game and the graphics from Resistance 2 and Resistance 1 are like night and day because of a side-by-side screenshot comparison. It's definanlty a big game for the PS3 in 2008, but I'm looking forward to Killzone 2 like 10 times more.
Give me a break, the RROD is worse and thousands of 360 owners have been affected by it... possibly millions have been affected by it.
I have GTA4 and a PS3 and it hasn't locked up or frozen once. Plus, the majority of the GTA4 problems were from some 60GB PS3 models. I have a 60GB PS3 and I have no problems with playing GTA4 at all and just a small number of people are experiencing problems with playing the game.
The GTA4 lockup isn't Sony's fault, it's Rockstar...
Is that all the article was about? Ryan Peyton stated in an interview months ago that there would be a button that you could press during cutscences to view flashbacks... that's not anything new really, but it would be way cool if you could actually play through those flashbacks though.
I've played the Echochrome Demo for the PS3 and I like it. The only problem that I had problems with was the jumping thing and when it makes you bounce, but other than that, I got through the Demo and it's definanlty a Brain Teaser.

During the initial movie, I was literally praying that it wouldn't freeze because a lot of people reported that the game would freeze during the first intro movie. When the game got past that first intro movie, my heart stopped beating fast and my nerves finally returned to normal.
FINALLY a game media source finally addressed one of the flaws of GTA4 and it's a BIG one if you ask me.
Driving most of the cars in the game is a pain in the ass. And don't even get me started about driving the SUV's and Motorcycles because they are literally impossible to driving without swerving all over the road. And yes, the cars do slide too much.... It's like driving on ice sometimes in the game.

Well that's good to hear because the last time I saw that list, Square Enix wasn't even on the list and now it is. I was thinking that Square Enix would make it to E3 because there are TONS of Final Fantasy fans that want to see a new trailer or get new info about Final Fantasy XIII... or possibly an announcement for Kingdom Hearts 3. There's no way that Square Enix couldn't be there.

I think that more developers need to create more deeper storylines just like Metal Gear Solid. It's the storyline in a game that really keeps you coming back for more (in my opinion), but Metal Gear Solid has the awesome gameplay and the awesome story. Most games these days usually just have good gameplay, but they have an average story.

I've completed about 21.59% of game with 13 and half hours of total gameplay.
I plan on taking a break from the missions for a while and plan on doing some police missions, those are so fun. But I try to pace myself so that I don't just plow through the entire story mode because the game just wouldn't last as long.
