I really want to find out more about those newer, smaller Helghast's, or at least their tactics in battle. They look like they are pretty stealthy by their small size, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see in the full game.

EA really needs to do a Black sequel. BLACK was one of the first FPS games that made me love the genre because I wasn't a big fan of shooters before I played Black.
You can always count on Criterion to make some kicka$$ games though, whether it's BLACK or Burnout, they are awesome developers.... all this talk about BLACK 2 is making me want to go play through BLACK again, LOL.
I have to agree with some of the points you made. I was really expecting a little more from Resistance 2.
The graphics in Resistance 2 were o.k., but I wasn't that impressed and to me the story in Resistance 1 in some ways was better than Resistance 2's story.
After playing the game for myself, I wonder how in the world IGN gave R2 a 9.5/10.... I would give it a 8/10 or a 8.5/10, but nothing higher than that.

The 360 has an installbase double that of the PS3 in the United States, so what did you expect? The PS3 version of Call of Duty World At War sold pretty good for the installbase that it has. As a matter of fact, I think that Call of Duty World at War had a higher attach rate from PS3 owners...

After this, I think that Xbox OXCGN site has learned their lesson to just stick with reporting on 360 racers like Forza, PGR, and Race Pro tand not being worried about the status of Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3.

The only thing that Xbox fans like you can say about KZ2 to comfort yourselves is that it will end up like KZ1 whenever Killzone 2's gameplay footage says otherwise. You are in serious denial, don't be upset because Killzone 2 makes Halo 3 look last gen.

Guerrilla Games is a Sony owned studio, so there is no risk for the company making Killzone 2. Killzone 2 is a game purely funded by Sony.

Earlier today I went to the Gamestop site, and I saw that they had the new Prince of Persia for just $39.99 brand new, I was like WTF?! this game hasn't even been out a month yet and it's been dropped $20 bucks?, but I didn't even notice the used price was higher than the new price because right now, they still have Prince of Persia for $39.99 new and $54.99 used
I guess Gamestop hasn't updated their used price on the site yet for certain games, but they really need to.
Well, I'm just glad that someone from Sony finally confirmed a release window for GT5. Whenever he says Holiday 2009, I hope he's talking about all 3 territories, not just one or two. I have a feeling that GT5 might come out in Japan in 2009 and might hit Europe and the U.S. Spring 2010, but I'm really crossing my fingers for a Worldwide release Holiday 2009.

100,000 units the first day in Japan for WKC is pretty good.
If MGS4 was able to sell over 650,000 units in Japan and was a non-JRPG, I think that WKC is capable of those same numbers over there, if not more.
I think that the sale numbers for WKC in Japan for the PS3 will finally make SquareEnix wake the f*ck up and get their games on the PS3. If WKC's numbers are pretty impressive, I'm pretty sure SquareEnix will be bringing Star Ocean 4 to the PS3.
I think that there will be just as many big budget titles in 2010 as there were this year. Everyone's definition of a "big budget" title is different. What qualifies as a big budget title? A game that costs over 20 million and/or that has been in development for at least 3 years or more?

If you think that bar has been set too high for Killzone 2 for whatever Stupid reason, then I imagine that the Bar will even higher for Halo3:OSDT to even reach when it comes out Fall 2009. I think you fail to realize that Killzone 2 is setting bars for future FPS.

I looked at the original article and didn't see a date when it was written, so it could be old. There was a more recent interview with Kazunori about a month or two ago where he "laughed at a 2010 release", implying that the game will hit sometime in 2009 (most likely late 2009), so I'll take this with a grain of salt.

Killzone 2 is easily my most anticipated game for the first half of 2009. If I had the choice of buying just ONE game from Jan. 2009- June 2009, KZ2 would be that game. Right now I'm more interested in PS3 exclusives for 2009, than multiplat's.

^ And that list is just a fraction of PS3 exclusives for 09'. Even if a few of those games get pushed to 2010, the PS3 will still have an awesome line-up.
Whoever submitted this article brings out a good point because the only articles that are on the site are Killzone 2 articles and there isn't any past articles from November, just December. It seems the site was created just this month... as a matter of fact, the first article ever posted on that site is from TODAY.
And when the person on that site wrote the "Good, Bad, and Ugly", for the Bad he pointed out something about the framerate like it was some huge issue in KZ...
If this is true, I'll be just a little disappointed... the secret PS3 game, a Ninja game? A PS3 Ninja game was the last thing I would have thought, but I guess another Exclusive hack-and-slash/action adventure game that could possibly match up to God of War 3 is awesome, it's just that I never expected an exclusive Ninja game to possibly be the secret PS3 game.
Who knows, maybe this will be the next franchise that will carry-on the hack-and-slash genre on the Playstation platfor...
