For a website I've never heard of, a 8/10 is a good score, but from most "Major" gaming websites (Gamespot, Gametrailers, IGN, GameInformer etc...) I'm expecting scores around 8.5/10 or higher.
Damn, Microsoft is most likely already making money off of Xbox 360 sales or are coming close to, and they are already making tons of money off of Xbox Live each year, the least they could do is have Free Premuim Themes.
I know that there are some premium themes you can pay for on the PSN, but Sony is barely just breaking even on PS3 sales and they don't charge for Online, so I don't see anything wrong with Sony charging for Premium Themes.
I guess Microsoft loosing ...
I saw this video on Friday for the first time on G4's website and it was pretty damn good. This Presentation also has the "Ballet of Death" videos as well as the other KZ2 CES videos that are on Gametrailers, so if you don't want Spoliers, then don't watch it... but I just couldn't resist.
"beautiful graphics, boring gameplay and broken controls... Maybe KZ2 is gonna be the flop I am predicting it to be... PROVE ME WRONG KZ2 I DARE YOU!"
Did you even read the damn article?
Boring gameplay? The guy writing the article said: "I was having so much fun at this point that I hadn’t noticed the crowd that had gathered behind me and was cheering me on when I did something particularly gruesome or crazy."
If you think Killzone 2...
"Stop hyping, it not gonna help the game."
Just like Killzone 1, it's the gaming media hyping the game, so don't blame Playstation fans for it.
However this time for Killzone 2, I think the hype is actually justified simply because the game actually plays just as good as the game looks.
Halo had a bunch of hype around it's release, so this is no different to me.
Well, in this economic climate, I guess electronic manufacterurers realized that it wasn't exactly the best time to be rolling out OLED TV's in sizes near 40 inches... I'd imagine that a OLED TV in 40 inches right now could probably cost as much as 15K or 20K... or even more.
It seems like OLED technology has gotten a lot cheaper to produce though because if Sony was able to put a 3 inch OLED touch screen on their new Walkman and it will sell for $299 and $399, then clearly the c...
What does this have to do with Sony? Did you even read the article?
Sony has basically been one of the major pioneers of OLED, but Samsung has produced some OLED TV's as well.
"Samsung says they need to run through at least one more generation of LCD—with a new, heretofore unseen generation of LED backlighting technology—before OLED will be ready for primetime. And it's unlikely they're going to let Sony step ahead of them, so now we're talking 2011ish at the ...
Damn, this Killzone 2 bundle is MEGATON. Sony definantly needs to bring this to the United States as well.
A PS3 price cut with this bundle would do wonders, but even without a price cut, this bundle is gonna move some tons more systems guaranteed.
And that Box design is just SICK. You can't miss seeing that Box in the store with those Helghast Eyes.
"I think Sony should be a little more humble at least until the momentum swings all the way to thier side."
Well to me for the most part, Sony has been pretty humble this generation. It's almost always Microsoft Reps. talking smack for no reason. For instance, Aaron Greenburg recently took shots at Playstation HOME saying, "it feels like 2005 tech in 2008". Did Sony ever make fun of the Xbox Avatar's? No they didn't.
Usually when Sony decides to tal...
For me personally, my fingers don't slip off of the L2 and R2 triggers, but that's just me.
Customizable controls were said to be included in the final version of the game, so I guess it's just not in the Review build.
Even if I had the choice of customizing the controls in Killzone 2, I wouldn't and on top of that, I like the L2 button for Crouch, and after playing Resistance 2, I really got used to it.
Anyways, I was sure that somehow some way people ...
I don't care about an Install at all for InFamous and It's not like EVERY PS3 game has an Install. For me personally, I would rather have a game that had an install that took a few minutes than to get up and change discs.
Every PS3 owner has a hard drive and it's cheap to upgrade to a larger hard drive, so no problems here with Installs.
LOL, Chaosatom I totally agree with you. :)
Whenever I first saw these Elite Shock Troopers on the cover of Game Reactor magazine, I had a feeling that they would be quick and agile because of their smaller stature and it turned out to be so.
After reading the description about them and battle tactics, these guys are definantly going to be tough.
I don't think I've seen gameplay videos with these guys yet, but I sure would love to... but if I don't, I'll get hands on with them come Feb. 27th!
Stuff like this will make people actually want to go into HOME. When I first saw this video, it really made me want to jump into HOME right away.
Once this releases, I have a feeling a lot more people that haven't downloaded HOME will be downloading it. This is just the beginning of the Evolution of HOME.
I'm a little iffy right now about this game, but I think it has potential if pulled off right. But, one thing that I do like about the game from what I've seen is the Art direction and I really love it.
With more and more Japanese developers trying to go "Western", I really hope that they can create interest in Westernized games in Japan, because then Shooters like Killzone 2 or Gears would start getting the attention they deserve in the Far East.
Yep, Resistance Retribution will get that Magnum with the Explosive rounds that was in R2, and they demonstrated that Magnum in the game at CES. You can watch it here:
http://www.g4tv.com/ces2009...
Anyone that has a PSP and has Resistance 2 for PS3, I think Retribution is a definite must buy.
The PS3 version of FFXIII is shaping up nicely. The graphics in this game look almost CGI, simply amazing!
After the Killzone 2 DLC, other than start work on Killzone 3, I think it's possible that they might start a new PSP Killzone game..... but it would be pretty awesome to see them develop a new IP, something entirely different than a FPS shooter like Killzone 2 on the PS3 because if they can pull off something as amazing as Killzone 2, I really want to see them dabble into another genre other than FPS.
Right now I don't think that Sony has any interest in bringing back Bakwards compatibility until PS3 costs drop more.
The old 80GB PS3 models DID have Backwards compatibility via Software Emulation, but Sony took stopped doing it. If Sony stopped implementing Software Emulation in those PS3's, I have some doubts if they will bring it back, but I really think they should. Luckily for me though, I have a 60GB PS3 with the Emotion Engine.
Well, for one, I don't use Metacritic, and on top of that I would NEVER intentionally rate down an unreleased game on any console. I may prefer Playstation, but I'm not a rabid fanboy that would stoop that low.
"Here's the thing, NOBODY cares about Metacritic user reviews."
And I definantly agree with that because User Reviews is something that I could really care less about, however it is nice every know and then to see what a gamer actually thought of the...
Dang, I had no idea a game could have 2 hours of cutscenes on a DS game.
But, in regards to cutscenes, if the Story is actually good and keeps me engaged, I don't care how many or how long cutscenes are.
