The only reason I think the PS3 is "Behind" is because of price, nothing else.
The 360 coming out an entire year earlier didn't help either, but the PS3 it's still selling at the same rate, if not faster than the 360 had sold in the same time frame.
And I don't know why I've heard those in favor of the 360 say that "the PS3 was supposed to come out and destroy the 360 out of the gate" just based upon the success of the PS1 and PS2... I mean, serio...

Unless M$ paid to have it exclusive, I think the Lost Planet 2 situation will play out just like Lost Planet 1 did... it'll come out on the 360 first and hit the PS3 at a later date.

I don't think the "Secret PS3 exclusive" is MGS5 because there were people seeing this game behind the scenes as early as February/March of last year, and I doubt Kojima Productions would have had something to show on MGS5 that early.

At this point in time, it's really not hard for people to figure out the PS3 needs a price cut. But in February's NPD alone, the PS3 sold 270K+ and I don't care what anyone says, that is still good numbers considering the PS3 is still $399 minimum, and has been for over a year.
Personally I think, NO other console BUT a Playstation console would have been able to sell at this rate while still being at this price... any other console that would have still been priced at $399 right...
The new target PS3 SKU is still supposed to be selling at $399. It comes with 2 free games, but at this point, it seems like Sony "might" continue the trend of giving a better value for the same price instead of dropping the price around GDC, because Sony did the same thing last Fall by introducing the 80 Gig PS3 for the same price as the old 40 Gig.

I don't think Sony cares whether or not M$ continues to pay for DLC because they'll just keep bringing out Exclusive after Exclusive. Sony's specialty is 1st party and 2nd party Exclusives, Microsoft's specialty is 3rd party and DLC.

Honestly, I DON'T own a Ton of DVD's and I own no more than 20 DVD's. Ever since I started buying Blu-ray DVD's Exclusively last Summer, I've been more of a movie purchaser. Before Blu-ray, I rarely purchased DVD's at all, and would only buy about 3-5 DVD's a year max. Since last summer I've gotten around 12 Blu-ray DVD's.
