I had no idea you could still get the "Saftey First" Trophy if you shot of the Helmets while the Helghasts were dead.... I thought they had to be alive, but nonetheless, I still got that trophy during my first playthrough in KZ2's single player.
I'm not surprised about how detailed Guerrilla went into the Guns, because KZ2's releasim obviously shows that there's a lot of guys at Guerrilla that are gun fanatics, and it shows in their game.

Last night I saw the Killzone 2 commercial 2 or 3 times during the Prime time slot and I saw the commercial for MLB 09 The Show a couple of times last night as well.
They've definantly amped up the advertising, but I still think that Sony's best advertising campaign ever for the PS3 was back in Late 2007-Early 2008 with the "Ladies and Gentlemen" song playing in the background, those were really awesome.
Kudos to Insomniac, and it sometimes it just amazes me that they've been exclusive to Sony ever since the company was first created while remaining Independant to this day..... there relationship with Sony is literally just as strong as Sony's 1st party devs, just amazing.
If I could work for one developer out of all of them, Insomniac would definantly be in my Top 5.

To get a guy from Guerrilla to leave, my guess is that they had to offer him a bigger paycheck or something. But whatever the case may be, this is just business.... people come and people go, but I'm sure there will be people that will make a big deal out of this.

I totally agree. I really love the BOTS in KZ2 and being able to play Offline.
The BOTS in Killzone 2 are REALLY good and at times it feels like you're playing against a real human player because the enemy A.I. in KZ2 is just crazy.

Well, we can't play Killzone 2 non-stop forever. I've got a class tommor...
Killzone 2 and COD4 require different play styles... KZ2 is a more slower paced tactical FPS, while COD4 is a more twitchy shooter... almost anyone can probably pick up and play COD4 and love it, but I think that KZ2 isn't a game that every FPS fan can pick up and play right out of the gate.
There's been a lot of people complaining with KZ2's controls and the the slower pace of the game, but for me it's totally perfect and it feels just right.
I'm glad that KZ2 does...
Executive producer Katsuhiro Harada said that it would be a "challenge to fit this game onto one DVD", but didn't say that it wouldn't fit on the 360.
When working on a game like Tekken 6 that's been optimized specifically for the PS3 and for the PS3's architecture, I can see why the Tekken 6 devs. might have an issue with porting it to the 360 while trying to maintain the exact same quality on a single DVD because they've been spoiled with the PS3's extra Blu-ray space...
I totally agree, when I first looked at the pics, I couldn't notice a very considerable difference, but I think that it could be that the pic that looks better might be CGI, and the other one was Real Time.
And like you said, the Xbox 360 version hasn't even begun development yet, the PS3 is the lead platform, and FFXIII is a game that's been optimized specifically for the PS3 just like MGS4, and I don't think that it's gonna be dumbed down at all....well... the Xbox 360 version ...
Insomniac is staying exclusive to Sony for this generation, and Ted Price himself has already said so.
A Wii or DS game in my opinion would be earth shattering news because it would be the first time that Insomniac has made a game other than for a Playstation console.
If the news isn't "earth shattering", then it's definantly NOT anything to do with other platforms but Playstation.

Nah, that's not gonna happen. I remember in a interview with Ted Price a little while back, he said that they were going to stay Exclusive to Sony for this generation.
Next gen. I wouldn't be surprised if Insomniac went multiplatform, but for the remainder of this generation, they are going to be making games exclusively for Sony.

Pretty much the REAL fans of Metal Gear Solid series and people that wanted to play the game already have MGS4.
I don't think it's even worth it to release a game like MGS4 on the 360 over a whole Year and a half later.... if it was something like 6-9 months later, that's a different story, but pretty much everyone that REALLY wanted MGS4 already has it.
But if it does get ported to the 360 (I don't think it will), it will be happening too ...

Console Sales in Japan may not look like U.S. or European sales on a weekly or monthly basis, but they do add up.
If you think Japanese sales don't matter, just wait until FFXIII is released, then you'll be a believer.
The only reason the 360 is still selling is because of the JRPG's.... that's pretty much the only thing keeping the 360 alive in Japan.
After Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII comes out in Japan, I don't think we'll be hearing much about the 360 in the Far East for quite some time... or at least until another major JRPG comes out... like Lost Odyssey 2 or some other JRPG.

I see what you are saying, but God of War 3's graphics are by no means "Last Gen".
God of War 3's graphics are FAR more detailed than God of War 2, and the Tech that's going into GOW3 and the Scale of the game is looking like it might just to be something totally groundbreaking.
In these Side-by-Side comparisons, if you can't tell that God of War 3 looks far better and detailed, something is wrong with you.
But why am I not surprised, just another no-name blog looking for hits, with just one other article posted on the entire site.... *sigh* anoth...
